When my package arrived it was not in perfect condition....having traveled through a snow storm and a holiday weekend...it was disappointing..(FedEx, not them) I called them to say hello and alert them to my sadness....They not only replaced the promo box, but added extra goodies and shipped it overnight with a sweet message from the owner. 👍😍 First Class all the way...And, AMAZING sweets! “So, Babe had a taste for a blueberry muffin. We decided to stop in here. They did not have any muffins available at the moment BUT they had a blueberry donut. Needless to say, we walked out with a dozen assorted donuts. I've already eaten 3 and my taste buds are EXTREMELY satisfied 😍 The staff was super friendly and the establishment was very clean. Everything looked so delicious. I know we'll definitely go back again to try other pastries 😀 $21 for a dozen donuts. Definitely worth supporting a small business as opposed to Dunkin Donuts. . “OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“Today, 20 Sep my daughter brought home a dozen chocolate donuts. I was shocked when I opened the box. Apparently your bakery is downsizing the donuts. Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

“Oshawn & Larry went above and beyond at my recent visit to Auntie Anne's! The pretzel hot bogs weren't available yet because of how early it was (they are my FAVORITE) so I was kinda bummed out but they were able to move efficiently and get them out to me in 10 minutes! It's nice to see that in a world where good customer service is declining, that Auntie Anne's maintains it's outstanding customer experience, along with great food! Thank you guys again!“

“North Shore Bakery Rocks!! I have been going to this amazing Bakery since High School and let me tell you..... I love the bagels, challah bread, and cinnamon coffee cake. They make the best baked goods in town. I wanted to mention and recognize Ayellet for her hard work and dedication to the business and her customers. When I go into the store for my baked goods I always get a welcome with a smile. North Shore Bakery always makes me feel like I am there only customer they have! Thank you for your amazing selections, presentation, and kind approach to the art of baking and customer service! It does not go unnoticed. “So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

“I love this bakery! I first came on the Flavors of Albany Park tour and have returned since for wonderful baked goods. The owners are so friendly and generous. I got the peanut cream pastry, red bean cream bun, and a green tea cake. They gave me a corn cake to try as well which was so kind! Everything they make is light, perfectly sweet, and so good.

FYI they only accept cash or Zelle for payment.“

“We ordered our wedding cake (with delivery) from Italian Bakery and all of our guests complimented it saying it was the best wedding cake they had. They also went above and beyond on the design and we received many compliments on the cookies and pastries we ordered. They did a great job!“

“I was very pleased with Auntie Anne's location upstairs in North Riverside Mall, Store number 1299. The staff is super kind and very attentive. I noticed the manager was on top of having all products fresh and ready to serve to customers, and the ladies working on the floor made me feel comfortable in selecting a freshly baked pretzel.“

The guava stuffed bread is definitely not recommended, guava has no flavor and is definitely not guava. I recommend the conchitas and the cuernitos con cajeta. They have Saudi products such as dates and dates, which are of good quality. I advise you to try their fresh baked goods and pastries. “I drove up north from Andersonville after hearing great reviews about New York Bagel & Bialy fresh baked bagels, and was not disappointed. We went Saturday morning, around 10am. There was a line out the door, but it moved at a reasonable pace without anyone rushing around. It probably took no more than 10 minutes to order, and another 5-10 minutes to get our New York Breakfast sandwich and bagel/spread. They have a great selection of fresh baked desserts and sweets, which I'll be getting next time! Great price for the quality and quantity, and easy to share.“

“We stopped the Lake Mills Oasis on our way back to Wisconsin and could not resist picking up 6 cupcakes at a table they had there. AMAZING…. Embarrassed to say we ate all six in one day. Each one was incredible but I think the carrot cake was our favorite. Seriously best cupcakes we ever had!!!“

“I grew up in Western Springs, in a house on the “other side of the tracks”. Almost every Sunday, my father and I would go to Kirschbaum’s for a dozen donuts. Those donuts were sooo good.“

“I ordered the chocolate chip, sugar cookies, and brownies. We had them delivered to our house. The packing was fabulous. No broken cookies or brownies. We tried the chocolate chip cookie and it had big chunks of chocolate and a very good flavor. It was a big cookie that could be shared by two people.
