“Great small bakery. The options may be limited but the quality is high. Follow their Instagram to keep a close eye on their inventory as I hear they typically sell out quick (only so much product can be made for a day's sales).I guess they are known for their Tahini cookies. I've had several items from their menu and I would recommend fulfill your sweet tooth here.First thing I ate were the peanut butter cookies, and boy did it have peanut butter in it - grab a drink to help wash it down! The bakery takes pride in their baked goods and it is well worth their hard work.“

“This restaurant has a very cozy vibe. Keep in mind it's a smaller restaurant that has a good crowd, so finding a place to sit can be hard during rush hour. The workers are all incredibly kind. I would highly recommend getting their breakfast sandwich, it is so so so amazing. And of course nothing says "breakfast" quite like a slice of chocolate cake from The Bear.“

The owner of the establishment walked me through all things offered and explained the process, and I haven’t been this satisfied in a long time with any whole sale establishment. “Best bakery within 100 miles in any direction. I have lived in IL my whole life (43 years). I have lived in a dozen towns and traveled all over the state. I have yet to find a better bakery anywhere. Its the best for everything, cookies, morning donuts and even wedding cake.“

“I love stopping here when I'm picking up food from one of the other stores. Everything we have tried so far is absolutely delicious! Their desserts are not too sweet... just the perfect amount! “We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. We will be going back whenever we are in Elmhurst again.“

“Of all the places I've tried around the city, Taste of Colombia has the best coffee anywhere in Chicago. My favorite part though is the wonderful people who work there! I feel super fortunate to have them just two blocks from my house. Make sure to give them a try!How cool this place is! “I hired Roughedges Confectionery for my daughters’ bridal shower after sampling some of their treats at local events. They were not only beautiful but insanely delicious! Everyone at the event commented on her desserts saying they were not only gorgeous, but the best cupcakes, flourless chocolate bites and cookies they’ve ever eaten. Kai and her team went above and beyond to make the event perfect by being so easy to work with, displayed the desserts so beautifully and actually had a member of her team pick mint sprigs from her garden that I forgot to bring! I can’t say thank you enough for making the event just perfect!Dietary restrictions: Kai also made gluten free options for several guests which were delicious!“

“I was walking around the neighborhood and noticed the sign for New Dokil Bakery. Dokil 독일 means German/Germany in Korean, and the sign reminded me of one of my favorite Kdramas Reply 1988.This store is a cute neighborhood bakery that sells delicious Korean breads, some with cream fillings. The bread tastes fresh and homemade, and it's priced reasonably. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming.They makecakes to order as well, so next time I have a special occasion I'll try ordering from New Dokil Bakery.I like to support local businesses over international franchises, and I'm impressed that they have been in operation for over forty years!“

“Was craving something sweet and some basbousa. As a result, with this dessert spot within the neighborhood. I thought I'd give it a try. I love how friendly the server was and their recommendation to sample the basbousa before purchasing! I got the small variety of Baklava and of course their basbousa! I was so scared that I was going to be disappointed because I have been in the past with other cake places but this one was not the case. I read the reviews first before my decision to get the cake done here. And I absolutely have no regrets. I just told them it was a Care Bears 1st birthday. “Came in today for the first time. Customer service was great. I ordered a steak sandwich, cafe con leche, and a pastelito. Everything tasted really good. I ordered to go and was in and out. The place is a little small so maybe for a sit down place it might be a little cramped but that's not a deal breaker for me. Definitely a must try if you are in the neighborhood!“

The sub was larger than 6 in, quality meat, a nice tasting dressing and not all the other stuff they throw on at other places, like lettuce and tomatoes and whatever else. “This is based off real time. My patient recommended me this bakery and wanted to get my partner some tiramisu. Mind you, it's cash ONLY. The tiramisu is $2.75 so take note. The service was quick but I only had $10 with me. I asked for 5 but then asked for 4 then 3 because of the cash I had. The server was talking to another customer in Italian and was already distracted. Once I saw the price, I told her only 3. She gave me this weird and impatient look and was very rude. Hence why I took 1 star off. It's prolly good food, just very hostile environment if you're not Italian. Update: taste wise the tiramisu is a little on the drier side and has a small layer of chocolate in the bottom. I would prefer going to pasta fresh in Chicago since that tiramisu is a little more moist and fresh.“

We tried the chocolate chip cookie and it had big chunks of chocolate and a very good flavor. It was a big cookie that could be shared by two people. “I've never had a bad experience here at Crumbl Cookies!Since moving to the area a few months ago, this has been our go-to Crumbl Cookies spot. We get it probably once a month - yikes! Every time here, though, has been the opposite of yikes - the staff is friendly, the cookies are fresh, it's never busy, always clean, and there's ample parking outside. At my old Crumbl Cookies location in Schaumburg, it was always a tight squeeze and hustle-and-bustle situation inside the store and in the parking lot because it was so busy. This location is bigger with more parking, but it's never busy which I like. Let's be real, Crumbl Cookies are freaking good. There's 4 rotating flavors every single week and 2 constant flavors (chocolate chip & sugar). I always love the chocolate chip and will get it in replacement of one of the rotating cookies when I get a 4-pack. In my opinion the warm cookies are always better than the chilled, but some of the chilled ones are great, too. They also sometimes include a mystery cookie which yes, is a mystery when you get it. I love that they do that, I think it's a fun concept especially if you really don't know which other cookie to get or want to try something new.There's TONS of flavors in general at Crumbl, I can't even select my favorite one. When they have these flavors, I do really enjoy their cinnamon swirl cookie, s'mores, cinnamon fry bread, dulce de leche, Biscoff lava, chocolate cake, buckeye brownie, and basically any flavor that has cinnamon or caramel in it, or that's super chocolatey and gooey. You already know I'll be coming to this location again!“

The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! Real nice chewy crust, and super soft and fluffy inside, just like Grandma used to buy! I picked up a really nice loaf of regular white bakery bread, which I sliced nice and thick and had with some fresh butter and jam! While you're there, have a nice chat with the sales ladies!“

“Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !“
