“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“I can’t say enough good stuff about this place. My bf& I enjoyed some delicious bacon cheeseburgers last night. It was phenomenal. Fries were a little dry…. But not bad. Other than that, each time I have gone the staff is super friendly and the daily specials are great. It’s good to see a place that still has affordable burgers, pizza and hot dogs! “BEST GREEK SALADS ! I always order from here and I’m never disappointed! I’ve never had a better Greek salad than Mr. Zee’s. Their Greek salad dressing ….. I mean I wish I had a gallon of it at home so I can put it on everything. I think they should start selling it or maybe give me the recipe ?? Either way I’d be happy 😊 The spanakopita spinach pie and also amazing. I miss their rice pudding. I don’t think they make it anymore but regardless Mr Zees is amazing !!!! “Update: I've been coming here for like 20 years, cant remember the last time they've raised their prices. Their full slab of Baby Back Ribs has been $25 for ages, and it's as good as it's always been, fall off the bone tender right balance of sweet and salty, a little fat and their delicious glaze.

Portions are good, food is out in like 3-8 minutes, love coming here.“

“Absolutely outstanding! The food is extremely fresh and timing of the dishes during our visit was spot on. Our sever, Juan, took care to watch from afar and make sure our meal flowed. The busser was on his game as well! I don’t think my water ever fell below the halfway point. We enjoyed the Gyros ( a must try), prawns, mussels, potatoes, and saganaki. The portions were perfect. To be honest, we should have called it quits after the prawns but we couldn’t help our selves, it was just that good. Owner stopped by for a quick hello and welcome. He’s doing a fantastic job with this location and I do hope he continues to do well. Highly recommend Mana for both the food and ambiance.“

The gyro was completely full of meat and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This gyro was a real nuke it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The pita was soft and fresh, and the tzatziki sauce was creamy and tangy, complementing the gyro perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is known as Chef Zuzu, he told me they recently opened up and seems like a great, honest, and hardworking business owner.
