“Sandie is the best! I came in once, while i was getting over a bad flu & my taste buds were all messed up when it came to eating meat. I asked Sandie if i can try a meatball because i wasn’t sure it was gonna taste right to me. It was perfection & the first solid meal i had in like 2 weeks. Ever since then, he asks if i wanna try a meatball, just in case. He’s the sweetest! Also, congrats on your new baby Sandie!“

“We had Cafe 53 cater our entire wedding and the food was phenomenal! Our guests can’t stop talking about the smoked brisket to this day. Jess and her team are amazing to work with and their communication through out the entire process was great. While they have a standard catering menu, they are willing to make whatever you want and cater to your dietary needs. We had a bbq/comfort food style menu and it was a hit. The staff was on time with their services and were on top of it the entire time. The cost was a great price as well which is always a bonus. So thankful that we went with Jess and Cafe 53 for our big day!“

“I visited Fitchy's Home of the Hogie yesterday. I purchased the impossible Hogie and fries. The food was absolutely delicious. Much shorter wait time and travel time then going to the Home Of the Hogie in Chicago.“

“While visiting Chicago we stopped by for lunch after a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry. The cafe is clean and inviting and the menu offers so many great options. The staff is really welcoming, kind, and easy to chat with. The location near the museum and Promontory Point is so convenient. It was a gorgeous day so we took our order to go to eat at the park. Our sandwiches were super fresh and delicious. If I were a local I’d definitely be a regular at Unbeatable! I hope to return if I’m ever back in the neighborhood.“

“Was a great Chicago style hot dog. Had beef as well and that was good to. Was a big beef. Had it with peppers, came with red and green peppers. Next time would also get giardiniera. Fry's were hot and fresh. Not much room to eat in but we ordered at counter and still ate in, it was a cold day. We fit in with our 3 adults and 2 kids at the counter style seating just fine.“

“This restaurant is truly a gem in the south shore community. I go there every Sunday for breakfast after taking a walk. The owner is so incredibly kind and friendly, and they treat you like family. The food is good and reasonably priced but the lemonade is amazing. Highly recommend!“

“The food is tasty but I was shocked by the quantity of meat in my gyros plate. It was just a gyros sandwich in a container with fries and fixings. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.“

We ordered online because there was a line but he made accommodations like mayo and mustard on the bread etc. half tomato on the nachos, as we were in store, and he didn’t make a fuss about us asking to edit the order. The atmosphere gets a 1 star because the people walking in were obnoxious and rude. Definitely would have eaten inside had there not been numerous people in there being rude to the employee. “First visit to this location, this place hasn't been open long just for about 4 months.This location is located in BP gas station, but there is a drive thru.Monday and Tuesday, they have a special on wings nuggets .70 cent. I'm not sure what flavor they have.My grandson and they taste okay. You know, kids, he also ordered their gourmet fries, ranch dressing, cheese, and baconI ordered the fries, but without the bacon.We were both satisfied with our choices.But I must say I was a little taken by the restroom there. You walk in the male urinal to the left and a supposed to be private door for the use of women and kids. That door the lock didn't stay secure. There was no hand soap as well. I had my grandson stand by the door .So this is part of the reason for the 4-star rate.“

“Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

“I occasionally drive by Jersey Mikes on 95 th St in Oak Lawn, when you drive by you ask yourself is that place busy? So today I decided to park in back and I walked in at 1230 pm it was slammed , now I know why , the sandwiches are 5 star and the service also!!! Kudos to the employee making the sandwiches, as busy as it was they were friendly calm and cool! The employee has some arm tats and I’m only saying that so their recognized by management, 200% will be back!!!!!!“

“Driving 25 miles just for a sandwich was absolutely worth it! The pictures do not do the hot steak sandwich with sauce and fries justice. Even with about 10 orders in front of me, I was in and out within 15 minutes. Street parking is available, and getting here is easy right off 1-57. Cash only.“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

Vegetarian options: They have a grilled veggie sandwich that is delicious!

“I had a gyro melt on rye and I’ll definitely get it again. The only thing is one of the fries was rotten, so they need to do a better job of eyeballing them before they drop them in the grease.
