I asked Sandie if i can try a meatball because i wasn’t sure it was gonna taste right to me. It was perfection & the first solid meal i had in like 2 weeks. Ever since then, he asks if i wanna try a meatball, just in case. He’s the sweetest! Also, congrats on your new baby Sandie!“

“We had Cafe 53 cater our entire wedding and the food was phenomenal! Our guests can’t stop talking about the smoked brisket to this day. Jess and her team are amazing to work with and their communication through out the entire process was great. While they have a standard catering menu, they are willing to make whatever you want and cater to your dietary needs. We had a bbq/comfort food style menu and it was a hit. The staff was on time with their services and were on top of it the entire time. The cost was a great price as well which is always a bonus. So thankful that we went with Jess and Cafe 53 for our big day!“

“I visited Fitchy's Home of the Hogie yesterday. I purchased the impossible Hogie and fries. The food was absolutely delicious. Much shorter wait time and travel time then going to the Home Of the Hogie in Chicago.“

“While visiting Chicago we stopped by for lunch after a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry. The cafe is clean and inviting and the menu offers so many great options. The staff is really welcoming, kind, and easy to chat with. The location near the museum and Promontory Point is so convenient. It was a gorgeous day so we took our order to go to eat at the park. Our sandwiches were super fresh and delicious. If I were a local I’d definitely be a regular at Unbeatable! I hope to return if I’m ever back in the neighborhood.“

“The food is tasty but I was shocked by the quantity of meat in my gyros plate. It was just a gyros sandwich in a container with fries and fixings. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

“First visit to this location, this place hasn't been open long just for about 4 months.This location is located in BP gas station, but there is a drive thru.Monday and Tuesday, they have a special on wings nuggets .70 cent. I'm not sure what flavor they have.My grandson and they taste okay. You know, kids, he also ordered their gourmet fries, ranch dressing, cheese, and baconI ordered the fries, but without the bacon.We were both satisfied with our choices.But I must say I was a little taken by the restroom there. You walk in the male urinal to the left and a supposed to be private door for the use of women and kids. That door the lock didn't stay secure. There was no hand soap as well. I had my grandson stand by the door .So this is part of the reason for the 4-star rate.“

“This restaurant is truly a gem in the south shore community. I go there every Sunday for breakfast after taking a walk. The owner is so incredibly kind and friendly, and they treat you like family. The food is good and reasonably priced but the lemonade is amazing. Highly recommend!“

“Healthy food before I was inside Walmart. On Western in Illinois? And it was pretty tasty. Then I see that I ran across the one that was in my neighborhood at first it didn't grab at me and then I was like, where did I see that sign before so I went in got me a nice order wings in a small Cheesesteak very tasty. “Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

“Been going to this place since I was in grammar school. Even though its in a new building next to the old one cause it burned down. I give this place 10 stars. The food is outstanding. The steak hot and steak sweet sandwiches and hoagie n fries with sauce on them are thee best. They also have the old school cookies n ice cream. Yummy so good. Its 2022 and still continue to go from 1979 to now. This place is worth the trip. People who grew up on this and have moved out of town still come right back to the Hoagy shop and buy extra to take with them to go outta town and take on there travels. “The spicy Caesar salad wrap was amazing. I had some chips and a spindrift.
The service- I’ve not seen this level of unprofessionalism, rude, disrespectful, uncaring “employees” in a long time. They were talking about the customers, cursing out loud at each other. “I occasionally drive by Jersey Mikes on 95 th St in Oak Lawn, when you drive by you ask yourself is that place busy? So today I decided to park in back and I walked in at 1230 pm it was slammed , now I know why , the sandwiches are 5 star and the service also!!! Kudos to the employee making the sandwiches, as busy as it was they were friendly calm and cool! “This is genuinely one of the best Jimmy John's around. The evening shift employees (two female workers) are very cordial & friendly. I get off of work late & always appreciate a well-crafted sandwich for dinner, and they always get the order right. The app is convenient, I have been utilizing it for years. Some JJ locations are a hit or miss but I never had an issue here. My experience is anecdotal after all, but consistency undeniably counts for something! 🥖

It's a pretty great place to get your grub on and yet the prices have gone up recently especially with meat and the taxes are much more than they were even with the nice atmosphere of a small simple restaurant if you want to pay a little more for your food then go for it they still make tasty sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs my personal favorite is the Polish with the submarine the only downside is I'll slow it takes for the order to come and the staffers don't really take sanitize a bit seriously that they don't wear that masks when preparing the food all in all who is delicious and yet not perfect!“
