Haven’t had Barbecue like this since Alice on 43rd between Wabash and Michigan Ave. Moreover Alice , there’s a new Queen and King of Barbecue. It’s the best! I love the garlic bread wiith there home BBQ sauce on it.
They use teal.oak wood for the pit to smoke the meat.
I have been going there for 15 years or 16 yesrs, always happy there.
Looks great on the outside and lots of kool antiques decorating the inside.

No need for the line if everyone did their job. I has hoping that when I finally got in that food would at least be worth the wait, I couldn't be more wrong. Food was burnt and not edible. I bought a large and ended up throwing it away. Don't waste your time and money.“

I had a great value....8 oz Renegrade Sirloin, loaded baked potato, and mixed green salad. And complimentary table bread.

Sure...Sirloin is not a top cut, but this was juicy, tasty, and quite satisfying. The surprise was that large, well prepared potato and large mixed salad...all included in the $19 price.

For those preferring a smaller portion, you can choose the 6 oz option, plus all the above extras.....FOR $16.

“My sisters and I stopped in yesterday afternoon. Been coming here for quite some time. We were there in July and enjoyed a delicious Italian beef combo. It was served on great Italian bread and the au jus was plentiful and tasty. Second best beef I’ve ever had. Sad to say our stop yesterday was not so good. They changed the sandwich, now served on toasted hoagie bun with a little cup of au jus. Very dry. My sister had a meatball sandwich, also dry. We won’t be looking forward to stopping by anytime soon. Go back to the old recipes, please.“
