Haven’t had Barbecue like this since Alice on 43rd between Wabash and Michigan Ave. Moreover Alice , there’s a new Queen and King of Barbecue. It’s the best! I have recommended their food to everyone I know. So far no disappointments!“

“Hands-down worst BBQ place in Chicago if not the nation. Don't look, don't ride pass, & pleeeease don't stop in here and WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The brisket dry, the ribs uncooked, and the fries was hard asf. You'd be better spending your $50-$100 at the grocery store and make your own bbq. “Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“This place came up on my facebook reels multiple times!! Living in NW IN found that it was an hour and a half to get there. Saturday my brother and I decided to take a road trip!! Well worth the drive. The food was fantastic. The server Anna was great. The manager Ken came by the table often to make sure everything was to our liking. I asked for extra sauce on my Jumbo tip and link combo, small turkey tip, and 6 wings ($55). When the cashier relayed the request to the lady who was preparing the food she got a real crappy attitude like I was asking for too much. I guess because they were almost closing. I asked her what she said and she went all off. “I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to her!” I asked what her name was and she refused to give it to me. No name tags present or I wouldn’t have asked. Then she directed me to the manager who was also preparing food for any concerns that I may have. I asked the manager Nivia Battle (I think that’s what she said) was she required to give me her name. She said no. Her attitude was crappy as well. Just negative energy behind the glass. Except for the cashier. I also told the that they need to improve their customer service and that I WILL BE BACK!! I have no complaints about my order at all. Food was great!!! They just need to get someone back there that’s actually going to do their job without being so nasty.“

I personally thought it was to pricey 32.00 when all my meal came with was a small steak & small sweet potato, no vegetable or salad. Was not worth the price. I should of got the burger!“

The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement. I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back. Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.“

“Definitely a must try ...well a add to rotation of places to frequent. Went on a Friday night and the owner came out to tell us about a few items/ samples. Not only was the turkey tips tender and flavorful, the sides were definitely a costar. Greens and Mac were 10/10. Oh and let's not forget about the cornbread, chef's kiss. Next trip I make that way , the pizza selection will be a next try and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.“

“My sisters and I stopped in yesterday afternoon. Been coming here for quite some time. We were there in July and enjoyed a delicious Italian beef combo. It was served on great Italian bread and the au jus was plentiful and tasty. Second best beef I’ve ever had. Sad to say our stop yesterday was not so good. They changed the sandwich, now served on toasted hoagie bun with a little cup of au jus. Very dry. My sister had a meatball sandwich, also dry. We won’t be looking forward to stopping by anytime soon. Go back to the old recipes, please.“
