“From the moment we stepped into this incredible Arab restaurant, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that made us feel like family. The atmosphere was inviting and beautifully decorated, but it was the service—and especially the owner—that truly made this experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely phenomenal. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the hospitality. The owner personally came over to greet us and made sure my entire family was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who treats guests with such heartfelt attention. This was a memorable experience. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for not just incredible food, but also to be treated with the kind of warmth and generosity that leaves a lasting impression. We will absolutely be returning“

“I had her food when she was on 87th East of Ashland and it was Good then. This past Sunday I ate it again for Soul Food Sundays and it was as even Better. I had the Perch Fish with Red beans and Rice and Mac and Cheese and My Brother had the Fried Lamb Chops with yams and Red beans and Rice. 💯 Everything thing was Good. Thank you Shawanda“

“It's definitely worth all of the hype there was a line outside the door 20 minutes before they opened. I had the turkey chops with garlic mashed potatoes. It also came with 2 sided, which were good but not as good as the main dish. I also had the house special cornbread.“
“Wow is all I can say. You provided amazing box lunches for JMD Angels Foundation annual board retreat. One of our board members, Errika Williams, sponsored our lunch and made an excellent choice! The lunches were fully packed with more than enough food. We enjoyed a salad and fruit cup, a slice of cake, chips, pop and a very delicious sandwich. Everyone raved about the food. Thank so much! Job well done!“
“Let's Do Lunch is one of our favorite places to order. They have an extensive menu for catering and staff is willing to go the extra mile to customize whenever possible. Food is made fresh and always plentiful for the price. Prices are so reasonable for what you get. We appreciate in that in these Covid times that the boxed lunches are so convenient especially when in an office environment. “Uncle Ronnie's was a blessing to my Sis and me. She loved his food His collards, mac & cheese; fish, chicken, sweet potatoes, etc, and the deserts-- so much more. His food brought comfort to my Sis during her last years of life. She was always happy when his food was catered to our home. She definitely had dancing legs while eating his delicious meals. Sis received her wings a few years back and I'm no longer in Illinois but the next time I visit, I will make sure I stop in to purchase some of the best soul food ever, from Uncle Ronnie's "Food For Your Soul" & Catering!“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“I am recommending the restaurant based on past experiences at previous location. Even though the service was slow, the food was delicious and the man who served us had a great attitude. However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. Please update your number on Facebook to the correct number that will get answered. Until I am able to call to place an order, I will place my order at Daisy's Cafe 2 in Hazel Crest. It's a longer drive, but They always answer their phone.“

“I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. You guys are a blessing. Much success to you.“

“I was here last night with my husband. We had ordered a taco dinner, steak and chicken and also a steak burrito. Food was fresh and hot. The burrito was bigger than what we expected but very good as far as the customer service very great….the young lady that was in there took our order. Didn’t mess up anything and for sure we will be returning.“
