“My husband Jack and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary tonight, and on a last minute whim he chose Bella Mia. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I had to write this review immediately. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by Gina, the bartender, who was extremely attentive and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The owner, Randy, came by to greet us and his personality was truly infectious. He had us laughing nonstop and made our night even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to Marcy and Dick, regulars who have been coming since day one. Even though this was our very first visit, we felt like part of the Bella Mia family. From the staff to the clientele, the love and pride behind this place are undeniable. Bella Mia is truly one of a kind and deserves all the recognition it receives. “The cheeseburgers are awful and thin. Our server was rude. My boyfriend woke up the next morning vomiting all day from eating there the night before. We will never come back.“

“Impeccably clean restaurant! The food is amazing and fresh. My Skillet was delicious as the fresh ingredients made the difference! Home made and not from a Sysco can! Entire staff was attentive to their tables. Debi was very nice and attentive.
The owner is friendly, and you can tell he appreciates his staff.

“Went here for the first time and what a treat! I love 50s stuff and this place is a hidden gem to me. I had an award winning experience from the minute we walked in. Total 50s decor and the aroma of fresh coffee and lively conversation was everywhere. The place is a bit small but so welcoming. They have tables and chairs and a counter to sit at. I felt like I took a step back in time. Love it!!!! I had a vegetarian skillet that was very delicious. The servers were excellent and so attentive to our needs. The place was extremely busy but was still working like a well oiled machine. Everyone was having a great time as I was looking about the room and enjoying everything the place had to offer. We will be going back again and can’t wait to try the other items they offer. Great job everyone!!!“

“Hard to pass up their Taco Tuesday special. Tacos are great and I always get fast and friendly service. I recommend you call ahead. They added a cooler with cakes and cheesecake type desserts and those are good as well. Guacamole is great and I always get a side order of the onions which I love.“

“Great little spot for take out or quick dine in and relax so far my meals have been delicious. The sweet and sour chicken and red sauce is good. The tofu with mixed vegetables is absolutely delicious. The spring rolls are good and so is the egg rolls. The plain fried rice is ok if I wasn't cheap and added meat id be more happy but delicious food and we are back for second round now will update later.

She was so kind and made me and my mom feel welcomed from the time we came in until the time we were finished eating.

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“Frankie’s is one of the best places to go to for a celebration, date night, or just to enjoy some delicious food. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is very nice and attentive, including Frankie who seems to greet and say something to everyone who comes in. It is one of our favorite places hands down! We also catered them for our housewarming party and the process was very easy and the food tasted amazing as usual. Definitely recommend!“

“oh my goodness I found this pizza by chance at my local Meijer. Hands down best frozen pizza or any take and bake. The sausage was delightful and the Cheese was The Cheesiest ever it actually did the cheese stretch. Great Job it doesn't deserve the Bottom shelf“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mr. Benny’s for the first time and it truly exceeded every expectation! The steak was cooked perfectly, the drinks were excellent, and dessert was amazing. “We stayed in our RV on property as part of our Harvest Host membership.

We each had a sampler where you can try up to 4 meads, which is made from honey. They have one that tastes like pino grigio (dry meade who knew), another that takes like apple pie (delicious), another like PB & J (yummy), they have spicy mead (very hot and delicious), etc. They were all delicious! Most of their meads are gluten and dairy free with the exception of the meads fermented in bourbon barrels.
I would love to come back for a paint and sip party and other special events. They had candle making tonight.
The outdoor seating in the back is a beautiful garden setting perfect for any occasion.

“This reminds me of the old supper clubs serving the little appetiser trays with the bread. This is one of the best places for a steak dinner I have ever been to! Great steaks, terrific and attentive wait staff and the best and friendliest bartender I have ever experienced. I rated it 5 stars but this place is off the scales! The char of the steaks is only something I could dream of doing at home. If you are not a meat eater, you can graze in the forest preserve down the street. Outstanding every time I go there!“

“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

The location is clutch with tons of parking and a huge space so it never felt crowded even on a busy Saturday night. The atmosphere was electric and the live band, 90’s Pop Nation, was AMAZING. Nonstop throwback hits had everyone singing along and hyped the entire night. Drinks were strong, food was delicious and the portions were massive (definitely worth it). “They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“
