But for the last, maybe 6 months or so, the service, the speed, and the quality has improved significantly and this is my go to location now. Great job to the staff and the management, definitely a change for the better!

My first visit to Grounded was absolutely delightful! This place has such a cute and inviting atmosphere – it's truly a whole vibe that I instantly fell in love with. From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed.
The staff were wonderful, too. For the most part, everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly and accommodating, which really added to the positive experience. It's clear they put a lot of effort into making customers feel at home. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to relax or a vibrant place to hang out, Grounded nails it. I had such a great time, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I'll definitely be coming back to Grounded again soon!“

“What a phenomenal addition to the Homewood/Flossmoor area!! Completely blew us away with the very best coffee (hot, flavorful, delicious) and killer scones! It is so nice to have a new, exceptional-quality spot for coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is so charming, you could be there all day. We sat at a high top but there are sofas, counter service , and standard tables. We were told a wine/beer selection is expected in October. Forgive my enthusiasm, but rarely does a new place meet and exceed expectations. Can't wait till my next visit!“

“My mom,me and my husband come here often. It's always fantastic. The waitresses r so sweet. We just love,Jamie,Lori,Michelle,kyston,Tina,Angela,. And the hostess r sweet too. “I am giving this particular Starbucks only 4 stars because of the length of time you have to wait to place and get your order. I do see how busy they are and I completely understand it's out of their control on how busy it gets, but I hope it does get better. Although, I do have to say that every single one that works there is always super friendly (especially Emily), which makes up for the long lines. Lol.“

“Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“

“I ordered an iced coffee and was given no sugar and asked for 3 packages I have hypoglycemia. I ordered a grande and was given a venti instead. I do not recommend this Starbucks if you have hypoglycemia. New Lenox doesn't like to think hypoglycemia exists just diabetes. I will never ho back there again for an iced coffee. I never had this problem in Junction City, Kansas. Heroin addicts rule New Lenox I'm 1 of 8 women in Will County who have never done it and never will. Again will never buy iced coffee from here hypoglycemia again does not exist to New Lenox residents“

“Mobile order pickup service is great. Every Mon-Fri morning on the way to work via Metra rail in metropoltan chicago, I make my mobile order about 5 mins from the final stop. The order is ready in 12-15mins.“

“This location runs incredibly efficiently because of the drive-through employee named Brittany. She always gets everybody's order perfect right and she is lightning speed fast. I will only come here because of her. I met her by going through the drive-through so many times and realizing that the only time things moved, was when she was there. Make sure to thank n tip her every time for her wonderful service and hope that her employer understands how valuable she is to the team.“

“I didn't go inside today. I mainly go through the drive thru. This is one of my favorite Starbucks. Very friendly and helpful. And my orders are ALWAYS great. If I am trying something new they're quick to offer something else.“

“I just love the people there! So much that I drive past the one by my house just because I know them and they know me by name. Most of the time I go through the drive thru, and even when it’s busy, I enjoy the quick convos and waves. That’s enough for me to know I started my day with their smiles for miles. Oh, and my Americano is always made just right.“

“This SB is not a stand alone but is located inside the Super Target. I usually don't like SB kiosks bc the coffee is never hot and then they offer a pour over instead. I asked the barista if the coffee was hot or if it had been made recently he said he didn't know but let me try a sample before buying and then being disappointed if not. I appreciate that he did that and it was hot so I purchased a small black Pike's place and a slice of pumpkin loaf warmed. My order was prepared quickly so I decided to eat my loaf at a table inside the SB kiosk area. The pumpkin loaf was delicious and went great with my hot coffee. I was very satisfied that my coffee was hot as I have struggled to get a hot cup of coffee at any other Target SB locations prior to this one. It's such a simple order yet never available smh. I will not settle for lukewarm coffee. Kudos to this place for keepin it HOT!

“We don’t often see managers going above and beyond for customers, that is why my experience here was so positive. I live in Cleveland and placed an order here to provide coffee and donuts for a local non profit. The order was picked up the next day, but the receipt was not. I needed the receipt to submit to my company for an expense report. Alicia reprinted it, took a picture and sent it to me. I was so grateful! I did stop in the next day on my way to visit the non profit. It was a wonderful atmosphere of hard working and busy employees. It was clean and there was nice music in the background. I spent about an hour working there using their internet. It felt like home and everybody made sure I had everything I needed. Of course the coffee was delicious! It’s Dunkin! And a lot less expensive than another coffee place! I love that they offer healthy options such as turkey bacon sandwiches. Great experience and a big thank you to Alicia for helping me out over the phone with her quick thinking and solutions to my problems!“
