“I’ve been going to Wake N Bakery since shortly after they opened and have literally never had a bad experience. They are cheaper than the nearest dispensary, and have good sales all the time. Everyone who I have interacted with who works there is kind and welcoming, along with being knowledgeable about the product they sell. I mostly use the product for pain management, anxiety, and depression, and it does wonders for all of the above. I have never received anything that wasn’t high quality, and the one time I had an issue, it was fixed immediately with zero stress or BS. Even if you have never used THC and are just curious, I recommend Wake N Bakery wholeheartedly. The staff is patient and helpful and I don’t go anywhere else anymore.“

“Dietary restrictions: This was the perfect stop in our travels. Timing was perfect and amazing food fast. My Baltic Sea crepe had lots of salmon, slabs of tomato and cucumber, spinach, capers and dill with a delicious green sauce to add on. The omelette which was the gluten free option was made to perfection with delicious European ham, cheese, bacon and spinach with a wonderful roasted red pepper sauce on the side. Portions are very generous. Bring your appetite. The coffee is superb as well.“

“Grindhouse is my favorite place to go have a beef bomb sándwich and a decaf caramel latte. My husband always gets a black coffee and the house salad with goat cheese, chicken, and a honey-mustard, homemade dressing. They have bags of coffee, honey, hot sauces, and shorts for sale too. Also, this coffee house always mixes up the menu if you're one who likes variety. They have cool music playing in the background and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable conversation. I will always go here because I love everything about this place.

Parking: Lots of spots to Park.

Kid-friendliness: I bring my grandsons ages 5 to 16 here all the time. It's right next to Griffith Park; so you can go play afterwards“

“Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“

“This location is good most days. I have placed maybe five mobile orders here, and only one of them was messed up. Sometimes the workers seem like they have an attitude when you do an online order instead of ordering up the window. With having social anxiety, I hate talking for extended periods of time and will stumble over my words if I have to read a menu and list off items I want and what other people in the car want. Ordering online has made it so much easier just to go to the drive-thru and say that I'm picking up for whoever's name then thank you when leaving. It is pretty upsetting that some will cop attitude when they hear "mobile order".“

I do see how busy they are and I completely understand it's out of their control on how busy it gets, but I hope it does get better. “The staff at the South Holland Starbucks are some of the friendliest, hardest working and overall salt of the Earth people I've ever met. Jocelyn, Gabe, Deb, Lucy, Ari, Julia, Jimena especially.
