“Shared a table salad and meatballs to start. Everyone relished their entrees. Our cocktails were good. Service was personable and attentive without being cloying. We were seated next to the kitchen, staff was active in/out but thankfully quiet. Expensive dinner out with the family, probably more of a date night place for us. Took a pick when it was mostly gone....we were hungry so ate in anyways. We were very disappointed. A bad night maybe ? They weren't busy at all, no one inside. The cheese curds were so creamy, the supreme pizza had a fabulous smokey flavor and crispy crust, the fettuccine Alfredo with parm crusted chicken was fierce, and the fench onion soup of the day is our son’s new favorite soup EVER!! First, the ingredients are all really good—sauce, sausage, crust, cheese. But the proportions are off. More sauce, less cheese would make this 5 stars for me (there’s a LOT of cheese).

Operationally, the woman at the front counter was very friendly. The pizza was 10 minutes later than promised (ordered as pickup through UberEats app i.e., not a delivery driver issue). And the pizza slices were not cut all the way through the crust which made for a mess.

The free tiramisu they gave was a nice touch—it was pretty good.

“We always enjoy eating at Lou's and whenever my daughter and her husband visit us from Texas they have to have Lou's Deep Dish Pizza! This year, I discovered that I could make a reservation in advance and then place our order 40 minutes prior to our reserved time so after we arrived, got our drinks and salad, the pizza was ready! No long wait! And, of course, it was delicious. I also send Lou's to Houston, TX and they use their Lou's pan and utensils. A complete dining experience! Also have to mention of server was terrific, personable, and always checking on us. wish I could remember her name!“
