“Ice cream was delicious & hit the spot on a hot/humid night. My only complaint was an unstable, older woman who kept sitting near different couples & talking to herself outloud. She kept making people w their families uncomfortable. It would be nice to see mgt address this.“

“I have no complaints. Andrea, Liz, and everyone on the team do such a good job. If you didn't know it was a Subway, you'd think you were in a mom and pop shop. Regulars are greeted by name, and then have their sandwiches made without having to even order them. Instead of leaving you standing awkwardly in silence, they're asking you about your day, your weekend, your wife and kids, how's the dog, the job, etc. I came here from a town over, to use coupons, and I don't think I'll ever eat at another Subway again.“

“The cashier, Sarah was great. She was very polite, asked if I wanted to upsize and was gracious in thanking me for service to our country (I am a Marine Corps veteran, SEMPER FI ⚓). I did receive 10% off my meal as advertised for being a veteran. I ordered #8 (The Frisco Burger combo) and it was awesome. “I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the hardworking young woman with glasses and brown hair working at the Carbondale Pizza Hut. I didn’t catch her name, but she absolutely deserves recognition!

She was working incredibly hard the entire time I was there. She was cleaning and scrubbing things down, consistently washing her hands, making orders, helping customers in the lobby, and taking orders — she was doing what seemed like a million things at once, and she handled it all while remaining polite and professional. You could genuinely tell that she cared about doing her job well and making sure things were taken care of.

Honestly, if she isn’t already a manager, she should be. She showed more initiative, work ethic, and attentiveness than I typically see from someone in a restaurant. Pizza Hut needs more employees like her, and I really hope management recognizes how valuable she is!

Unfortunately, I also noticed a very different level of effort from the blonde-haired employee. While I was waiting for my pickup order, the fryer was going off and customers were waiting in the lobby, but she didn’t seem to be paying attention to either. She eventually went outside and talked on the phone while customers were still waiting. I understand everyone has an off moment, but compared to how hard the young woman with glasses was working, the difference was very noticeable.

That said, the food itself was delicious and made exactly how I wanted it. My order was correct, fresh, and tasted great.

Overall, I really want to emphasize that brown-haired girl with the glasses deserves some serious recognition. She was the standout employee by far. 👏🏻 She was polite, hardworking, attentive, and clearly capable of handling responsibility. Give that girl a raise — and if she isn’t a manager already, promote her! She deserves it.“
