“It’s a nice place to eat. Unfortunately there was a party of 10 celebrating a birthday. They was very loud and obnoxious. Couldn’t really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff didn’t tell them to lower their voices. Maybe they need a special room away from the front so that other paying customers can enjoy their meals and conversations.“

“This fast food restaurant surprised me. I came upon it totally by chance, had never heard of it,, and since I was in the Chicago area (not a common thing), and was heading out, it seemed like a good opportunity.

Ordered an Italian beef with hot peppers - the ONLY way to have it - and it was delicious; juicy, flavorful, and a good portion. I'd DEFINITELY try Buona's again without hesitation!“

Meal now available anytime and not just limited to lunch. I can't eat very much so that was just perfect! Our server Nicholas was also exceptional. We had a very good meal and enjoyable time. Today. Lou's prepared the order perfectly as requested, the order was ready for pick-up at the quoted time, and the staff providing the pick-up service were helpful and friendly. The pizzas were really good and thankfully there were left-overs for our guests to take home.“

“Their Take and Bake items are a must for quick evening meals. My go-to choices are any of the Lasagnas, Sausage & Peppers, as well as Meatballs. I am also a fan of the pizza dough, which I use for homemade calzones and their shredded parmesan. This is my favorite place for all fresh Italian foods. Zeppe's has been my answer to meet my catering needs as well; 3 years in a row. This is the perfect local market.“

I will say there was a bit of a stumble with our waitstaff (confusion abt who had our table of 6?) as we waited just over 20 min before anyone came to our table- once that was resolved, all excellent from there. Food quality was terrific. Huge portions so nearly everyone brought home a to-go bag. And the new space feels cozy and fresh. Special shout out to the gal at the front desk when I asked if they had a coat check for my long coat she had said no not yet but I'll be happy to help and she swiftly took it someplace so that I didn't have to have it behind my chair; And then in everyone's way on the floor. “We always enjoy eating at Lou's and whenever my daughter and her husband visit us from Texas they have to have Lou's Deep Dish Pizza! This year, I discovered that I could make a reservation in advance and then place our order 40 minutes prior to our reserved time so after we arrived, got our drinks and salad, the pizza was ready! No long wait! And, of course, it was delicious. I also send Lou's to Houston, TX and they use their Lou's pan and utensils. A complete dining experience! Also have to mention of server was terrific, personable, and always checking on us. wish I could remember her name!“
