“2nd time coming here. Food is phenomenal. Never had chicken with honey butter or pimento cheese with fries. When you put the butter on the chicken, the melted butter, the crispy texture, and the juices of the chicken just melts in your mouth. As far as the pimento cheese goes, the sauce has a bit of a tomato hint blending in with the cheese when you have it with the fries.“

“Even though it’s a hot chicken place and the chicken is great, Nash Bros has absolutely amazing halal smashburgers, quite frankly one of the best halal burgers in the Chicagoland area. The owners are great guys, really hospitable. Really great place to hang out to watch sports.“

“This is a super cute hidden gem with a tasty selection of southern cooking. The ambiance was nice. It felt very cozy and I loved the artwork and set up of the restaurant overall. The staff was super friendly and attentive to customers The food was delicious and I only wished I'd ordered more. I went close to closing and as I got my food another table had cornbread come out and I was jealous. I'd definitely recommend the sweet potatoes and fried chicken. We all shared food and will probably do the same when coming back.“

“We ordered: Jibarto con Arroz - steak between fried garlicky plantains Papa's Pollo Food was all delicious. Both the rotisserie chicken and steak was well seasoned and tender. Jibarto sandwich was a great combo of fresh and savory flavors and textures. Rice texture and flavor is a tasty side. Employee was very enthusiastic and nice. Good service. I like the family vibe including the people photos on the tables. I'm going to recommend this to my Puerto Rican friends.“

“I went today…I did not get the name of the person who attended us. I believe he is the owner, he is very nice and welcoming. The chefs are kind with good vibes too. Overall Good vibes. The chicken is not dry, and the friendly fire fries are very well served and delicious. I know a lot of food places get promoted in the city, but I am happy to know that there is a good chicken place here in Forest Park, IL. The food is well priced, and not expensive. “Love the service here. The guy at the front is always cheerful and quick. The wings are amazing. My favorite is the sweet and spicy flavor. Good lunch specials. I got the seasoned fries as my side. They were too thin for me so I'll try the other fries next time.Two suggestions for the team: 1. if you guys can close the bag without using staples as it caught on to my finger while i was handling the bag and 2. I thought the strawberry dragonfruit refresher would have caffeine in it but it's just juice so perhaps not referring to it as a refresher would help the customers who were looking for a little pick me up. “Give this place a try when we are around the area. There are many kinds of flavors for us to choose. Since we have kid with us, we decided to try the non-spicy ones. “I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

“Absolutely phenomenal south Indian food. We came in to dine in but had to get it to-go due to an emergency. The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“

“My family and I really enjoy the food at this place. We usually go through the drive thru on Montrose. Tonight I placed an order over the phone. When I got there I noticed they had a special for what I ordered at a less price. So I asked if I could be honored the special since I never knew of it and it’s not on the website. The girl tried to process it but she said she couldn’t do it. I came home to find they gave me an extra side of rice which I didn’t order. My total was $35 for two taco dinner which I found to be more than usual. It really annoyed me that I feel like not only did I overpay but the staff did not care to find out if they could honor me and on top of getting my order incorrectly.“

Get the chicken steak bento box. The kimchi is really good too, sweet not sour and spicy ?Vegetarian options: Tofu. Theirs is seasoned very well. I don't always like tofu and I'll order instead of meat sometimes just because it's yummy. If on the fence about the tofu, give it a shot. “Best Shrimp in Chicago since 1917! I’ve been going to Trohas since the mid 90’s! I love their shrimp & clam strips! Their coleslaw is a notable! It tastes like no other! The fish chips are a treat! “I never do reviews of places but had to get online immediately after I had the food from Hangry Joe’s. I tried their hot dry rub tenders and waffle fries. I’m usually a saucy kind of guy but I had their hot dry rub and was hooked. The rub is phenomenal if you like your tenders spicy and the waffle fries were nice and crispy. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t. 10/10 food!“

“We've ordered a number of times from Brasa Roja. The wood fired whole rotisserie chicken is super flavorful and fantastic. I also recommend the juices, particularly the Soursop with milk (if you've never heard of Soursop aka Guanabana, give it a try!). Some sides are not as great as the chicken which is the only reason it's not 5 stars.“

“Came here on Sunday, March 3rd 2024. Service was great but a bit slow. The restrooms need to be deep cleaned. Super gross stuff on the sink, no hand soap available, toilet was dirty and bathroom floors felt a bit sticky. The food, however, is amazing. I see why people rave about it. Great quality and taste amazing! Just wish the bathrooms were cleaner!“
