“I've been wanting pancakes for the past month and finally went for some this morning. The pancakes were PHENOMENAL! My pancake jonesing was fulfilled by a more delicious pancake than I imagined was possible. They were huge and I could only eat one 🤤 The other reheated perfectly in the microwave - the texture was interior, but the taste was still fantastic. I've been before, but got other things. At this point, I can confidently recommend the breakfast sandwich, beignets, and pancakes. Oh, and get yourself an orange pop for breakfast... Be bad, treat yourself!“

“Came in today with our big family and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the management truly cared about making sure we had a great time. We tried just about everything on the menu, and our favorites were the smash burger and the nachos. We even tried their boba tea, and it was delicious! “looks as tho everything is done in house. the fries are fresh cut potatoes. the patties are hand made. the chicken is I think the best fried chicken I've ever had. texture of the frying and pinch of lemon pepper balances extremely well. prices are dirt cheap. if this exact item was at a downtown gastro pub it be selling for $12.99 which people would gladly pay and it be famous like Au Cheval with a line and not the $2.99 I paid. a lot of care of actual not taking shortcuts goes into the food preparation. I even saw the guy put on a brand new pair of vinyl gloves to prepare and cook the food. they are moving locations next week glad I came across them while here on business. Got the change went to the end of the counter with my cup and the food was there before I made it to grab the cup before I made it to the end of the counter 10 steps away to grab my cup. The food was ready before I grabbed my cup to get my they make get your own drinks but yes, that's the only thing it literally got ready. “My company moved a block away, and when I strike events I get back at 1-2am, so tonight I tried for first time coming back from downtown I usually stop at goose Island or I stop for a jew town polish Maxwell st, but didn't feel like stopping so I ordered the catfish nugget regular meal and it was incredible, highly recommend service was great the lemon pepper seasoning was fire came with fries and old school 2 pieces of white bread reminded me of getting from harolds chicken , next time I try the Wings. ;)“

The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and when I asked questions, they either didn't respond properly or didn't seem interested in helping. The dining area also looked like it needed more attention—several tables were greasy and didn't appear to be cleaned promptly, which made eating in feel a bit unhygienic.
