“Always friendly folks here and great food! Police, military, veteran themed place with amazing BBQ meats and a ton of good southern sides. Love the cheesy potatoes and Mac and cheese. With six to eight tasty sauces and some good southern desserts, there's something for everyone. And, of course, the cornbread is a BBQ staple ... Broccoli salad is really good.“

“Honestly, BBQ is not my favorite. It is usually messy, overcooked, low quality meat covered with sauce to over power the lack of natural flavor. I was taken a back by how good DAMO was. DAMN, the food blew my mind actually. Our band Ginger Road went by after a show and were treated with an absolute feast of flavor. The brisket and ribs were the best this guy ever had. I told a bunch of people and they all raved about the pulled pork and chicken too.Maggie and Dan were fantastic and added to the experience. I recommend them for your event. “We had our wedding at hawthornes and it was such a fun and beautiful experience. Heidi was so attentive to my guest and most importantly my dog. She made sure everything was taken off our hands and helped make sure it was a stress free day. “The environment is so peaceful, extremely clean, staff is pleasant. The rooms are large with plenty of seating for party of ten, love the YouTube unlimited access, sound system was flawless. “I usually do my own BBQ but felt lazy today so we ordered some BBQ from @gematosbbq in Naperville and it is delicious. Highly recommend the ribs, rib tips and the BBQ chicken. The sides were delicious especially the Grecian potatoes. Will definitely order from here again.“
“Gave this place a whirl during my lunch before tuning 4 pianos at Crone Middle School. It exceeded my expectations so much that I came back after tuning those pianos which was 4.5 hours later and the cashier even recognized me which was a nice surprise. Customer service was great and the food was even better. I love that they have a few different sauces to experiment with the tasty food. The sassy, shark sauce and shark white and can’t forget there version of the Carolina sauce. All of it was on point. I had the half chicken and a sausage link with a side of green beans, mashed potatoes and sweet mashed later on with the corn muffin. Everything was kosher and definitely will be back next week as there are more pianos to be tuned at different schools. Highly recommend this place!“
“Recently moved to North Aurora and we were looking for some pizza this past Saturday night. Decided to try Mario's. Used the Slice app on my phone. Got there on time for pick up but they were super busy and had to wait a bit. Manager / owner came out and apolgized for the delay and offered free water or pop. I Politely declined and continued to wait. A few minutes later the same gentleman came all the way out to the front with 2 boxes. He said there was some sort of glitch with the app and said it ordered twice but I was only charged for one! I said are you sure? He said yes please take them and thanked me again for my patience. The pizza was still steaming hot when we got back to the apartment, and it was really very good! Will defininately be going back to Mario's!“
