“Food is basic but still pretty good. It’s nice to have a bar on base since we can’t leave. All employees seem pretty nice. Only thing that kind of sucks is the extremely long lines and wait time but I know covid plays a big part in that.“

“The staff is so pleasant it’s worth the visit for that alone.“
“Great staff amazing food great night“
“A really great and unique find! Don't judge it by the exterior, as it's really nothing to look at outside but spectacular inside! Great drinks, wonderful mead made on site, and a well stocked bar. Totally worth your time to explore!“
“It’s good to know that the SpongeBob ice cream bars are now back. This is dope. Whats not dope is the gumball eyeballs are no longer and you can’t be an Oompa Loompa like me - you’ll a need step stool to restock the TP for your Bungholio! … or bring that friendly face at the bar to bring into the restroom to help you out with the TP. Kind of awkward I must say but hey gotta do what you gotta do. Also Beavis would NOT approve. Also the North Shore mom who complained about King Gizzard playing and it being too loud and then asked if her kid can have a job… sorry babe but he’s not getting a job! Don’t dish the Gizz!!! Also don’t ask for a side pull when in front of me, it takes too long for me to wait for you to get a beer. Drink the beer the way God wanted you to. Also leave your kids at home unless they know how to clean. If you have time to lean, your kids have the time to clean. I’m sorry but if you’re bringing your kiddos to a bar, make them work so they don’t up like me or you or those guys over there who’s been here for 6 hours trying to get the #1 spot on the “closest alcoholic anonymous” board. kids from the north shore can clean and bust tables and clean windows too. Also not sure on the return policy at this place. I tried to return the cans after I drunk them for a full refund but they were on to my game even after drawing a mustache on my face and came in with an accent. Next time I’ll try a Halloween outfit. Also It’s the breweries fault for making good beer. Also I would highly suggest more fire drinks! Fire is cool. Thank you.“

“I went to Lucky Scottie for the first time. I've been invited by a friend who sings but never made it. I was impressed with the place in Waukegan. I'll be back soon. Keep up the good work!“

“We got here for the post Polar Plunge free drink promotion. My friend and I received our free drink, and because the bartender, Bonnie, was attentive and sweet, we stayed for a couple more drinks and ordered some food. Would totally return when next in the area. . . With any luck Bonnie will be working.“

“An excellent dive bar that never disappoints! Half the fun is NEVER knowing if it's going to be jam packed standing room only busy, or just a couple of patrons. Get the bartender to bake a Quonset pizza, or toss you a frozen Charleston Chew with your favorite drink!“

“Very cozy atmosphere. The bartenders are GREAT! My favorite is Ginny, great Customer Service, always a welcoming smile. The patrons while many are regulars, they too are very kind and always make me feel welcome. On the rare occasion I do go out, this is where I am going!!“

“A spot found randomly while looking for lunch on a long bike ride from Chicago. Nashville hot chicken is VERY tasty, and the seasoned fries are excellent. Great spot for food and beer. Incredible bartending service by Tanya. Was a Saturday afternoon experience. Recommended!“
“This restaurant could probably survive (with some lower cost) outside of a theme park. I only have tried one thing, the pulled cajun chicken and Mac and cheese) and they were really good. There's a selection of sauces at your table. If you have a dining pass, I would suggest visiting this place. If you don't, it will cost you a good penny (18-16 per entree, that does include a side).“
“This is a dive bar. I did have wings, they were good, but not like, Michelin Star good, just dive bar good. The service has been excellent. The bartender made me my wings even though the kitchen was closed, because she still had a fryer on, and I ASKED NICELY.Don't be a dink if they can't accomidate you after reading this.Thank you.“
“The Owner (Danny) treats everyone with Kindness and Respect. Kind of like the Bar “Cheers.” He won’t forget your name and he will always greet you with a smile. Also enjoy the music-especially the 20 minute plus version of “Get Ready” by Rare Earth!“
“Back in 1989-90 while stationed at Ft. Sheridan, several of us would go to this place every Tuesday for the quarter beer night and it was always packed. They played a great mix of alt. Rock like REM, and the draft was a quarter! They were supportive of the military back then. I remember the wooden nickel like it was yesterday.“
“Made a lot friends there.“

“last evening my husband and I joined four friends for an early dinner at Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse. It turned out to be so much more then just dinner, to quote one of our dinner companions, Brian Romer, "We have enjoyed fine dining for many years but last night was a Kodak memory experience. Finally, we have a grrrreat restaurant close to home." From the moment we approached the front entrance, we were greeted by a nicely uniformed young man who welcomed us as he opened the door, then we were escorted to our table where we were introduced to the concept of a service team. service being the key word. As those attending to our needs moved in and out, sometimes barely noticed, but extra warm bread or more olive oil would suddenly appear on the table, water glass refilled by slight of hand. "Would we like a drink before dinner?" I was undecided on the choice of wine, he helped pair perfectly with what I was going to have for dinner. The dinner, I can only speak of the chicken Vesuvio. Seriously, and I had to share this with Steve while we were there, pretty much perfect, one change I must admit, I would prefer my potatoes served not floating in the sauce, I like them crispy. and the SERVING SIZE! I was served an entire spatchcocked chicken plus potatoes. No, I did not clear my plate, those magicians who saw to our every need took our plates, swept any crumbs from the cloth, packaged our delicious remains then knew we would be enjoying at home tonight, then someone suggested, dare I say, DESSERT? How can I describe the desserts? The six of us shared three, each came accompanied by a scoop of a different ice cream or gelato. Butter cake, cannoli and tiramisu, each one better than the other. During dinner both the manager and Steve, the owner stopped by the table and we made sure to send our thanks and good impressions to the chef. OH, everyone at our table was equally as impressed with their choice of dinner as I. If. when you go be prepared, you are not just going to dinner, you are going to enjoy an event if you allow yourself to, we spent close to three hours savoring the experience and look forward to a repeat in the not too distant future.“
