“Amazing breakfast spot that was a random find while in the area. Great service and really cute atmosphere. Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. The churro French toast was incredibly delicious and included as a side to my omelette…small upcharge well worth it!! If ever in the area again it will be a must to to revisit!“

“This place was so cute and the food was amazing! We got the chicken satay, Thai fried chicken, crispy basil pork belly and crab fried rice. My favorite was the crispy basil pork belly! It was incredible and flavorful.

“Portion sizes were larger than expected, and the crab rangoons are pretty good! I feel the pad thai noodles are lacking in flavor and sauce. I added more fish sauce and lime juice at home and it went from sad to decent but I'm not sure I'll order that again.“

“This is my second visit to Mix Mex Cue and it is now becoming where I will frequent on a more daily and/or weekly basis ESPECIALLY WITH THEIR HOMEMADE TORTILLAS ON SUNDAYS!!!... THE PASTOR TACOS ON HOMEMADE TORTILLAS WAS WHAT MY LIFE HAS BEEN MISSING!!!... I haven't had homemade tortillas since I was a kid and my Mom made it for Sunday breakfast...

“Room for improvement. The food is pretty good. Service is friendly. I’ve stopped here a few times and have had pitas, kebabs, and a few other items. Here’s what can get better and what will get me to stop more often. Let me add some hummus to my chicken pita. Maybe a couple tablespoons? Maybe for a small up charge? They don’t offer that option. I had to buy a side of hummus for $8 to enjoy a little hummus with my chicken pita. And then the side came with only ONE piece of bread. The hummus is REALLY good, but now I have a big bowl of hummus with no more bread to enjoy it with. Also, I prefer my hummus without pools of oil in it. A little drizzle, okay. But why drown the hummus flavor with so much oil? Anyway. Good place. Could be better. I’ll give them a try again and update my review if they’re able to raise the bar a little bit.“

“I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“

“As my wife and I visited last year as well for restaurant week, we knew that we were in store for an amazing meal. But once more Farm Bar exceeded any expectations we could of have. The food was absolutely amazing, and so delicious I probably ate more than I should have! Everything was perfect, and wants me to let others know how amazing this place is. The service was also phenomenal, Rachel did a great job being attentive, informative, and interactive with us. She did a fantastic job checking in on us, but never having us feel rushed in anyway. We will definitely be back sooner than later, and we are so excited for warmer weather so we can explore the rooftop ambience! Thank you so much for providing my wife and I such a great experience!“

“It was our first time coming here my fiancé and I live around the corner and always seen it today we stopped by and the food was so good ! I got the bbq burger my fiancé the Philly cheesesteak and shakes. Everything came out so good , the fries were nice and crispy the cheese sauce for the fries amazing ! The shakes also good. Service was great ! He addressed my fiancé by them which we loved because we never have that happen and it was just a beautiful moment that he knew the pronouns without us even saying anything. We definitely will come back we found our new spot.“

“It is so refreshing to meet an owner who is actively present in his restaurant. Mark Salmon enthusiastically and creatively arranged for my friend and I to dine outside (our request), despite the rain. We stayed dry under umbrellas and thanks to Sandra, our amazing waitress, we celebrated my birthday with fine food (impressive menu choices and food presentation) and great company! It was my first time dining at 501 Local and this restaurant met and exceeded my high standards in every way! It is a hidden gem and our new fav restaurant. Highly recommend!!“

“Just had brunch at Greenhouse Inn and wow, what a gem. $20 per person for the Sunday buffet, and it was worth every penny. They had everything from crispy bacon and scrambled eggs to beef brisket and shrimp. The salad bar was fresh, and the sweet table? Don’t even get me started—those brownie bites were chef’s kiss. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff? Friendly as can be. Plus, you're supporting a great cause. Definitely coming back next Sunday!“

“Goirdano’s left our area and I stumbled on to NPC. I ordered and was surprised they deliver to Skokie. I called an hour later and they informed me due to busyness our pizza was accidentally delivered to the wrong location. They quickly credited me the amount and still made a new order for us. The pizza was fantastic. Deep dish and margarita. They totally owned the situation and did their best. Pizza felt cleaner. Less additives or chemicals than Lou’s or Giordano’s. Will definitely return.“
