“Showed up for dinner with a 4yo and 1yo around 5pm. Sat us at the booth and had great options for kiddos, high chair for baby, and brought all the food out since we had limited time. Everything from the top tier caviar, lobster bisque, branzino, calamari, and even the chicken tenders tasted FRESH and delicious! Valet free but also plenty of parking! So happy hubby randomly picked this place! Will def be back again without kids lol“

“The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional! Everything, down to the drink names, perfectly complemented the ambiance. This is an absolutely beautiful place to enjoy dinner and great food. The shawarma rolls, pork chops, and Moroccan tagine were all outstanding. If you enjoy sweet and refreshing cocktails, I highly recommend the 'Gotta Have Faith.' Overall, I would definitely return to try more dishes and highly recommend visiting this unique spot. “I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

Price is very reasonable. You can find a menu on their website. The store also sells Japanese snacks, sauces, and spices. Only a few small tables food court style so plan to get take out if you prefer table service or have group of 4+.

Recommend ordering on the phone in advance; at peak hours there is a wait time of about 40 minutes.

They do catering and large orders. Seems like a great option for ordering food for a party.“

“Wonderful large seafood menu! This is the best seafood restaurant I always go back to! Large portion and great tasting fresh seafood. The last we had was seafood gumbo - a must try!“

“Incredible food from Chef Gabriel. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar, and then found out that we were sitting next to the head chef! He recommended some dishes and they were amazing. The baked feta was really well balanced. The Octopus with the corn purée was the best octopus I have eaten in the U.S. the short rib was delicate and served with parsnip purée which was like a light mash. What a great flavour to accompany the beef! This is a must try and certainly the best food in this area by a long way.“

“Well, we just loved it! We expected a slightly more bustling urban Italian experience, but being a bistro, we got a more home kitchen feel. The prices were a little lower than expected, but typical with a dine-in Italian experience.

But the food! We have tried lots of Italian restaurants in Chicago recently. This was a standout. They offer a delicious homemade cornbread and feta spread upon arrival. We ordered the Gorgonzola fettuccine and the linguine putaneska and they were just to die for! The Gorgonzola was creamy and not overpowering. The putaneska was savory, salty in the right way, with lots of umami. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. And the carrot cake with cream cheese icing was delicious. The food was just wonderful.

Going along with the home kitchen feel, the server was casual and friendly. Lovely and personal attention is given. Please give this place a try. It is worth it.“

“My wife and I went here to celebrate our birthday. They had our table ready and decorated, the staff was great and our waiter Mark went above and beyond. “I've had mixed experiences here. The service tonight was great, but the wine menu is lacking. I'm not sure why ports are not listed under desert wines, and there are very limited options from New Zealand and absolutely no Petit Syrahs. The French, Portuguese, German, and Italians wines lists sometimes only have 1-2 options.“
