My rating reflects all the above. Whether you choice to eat there or not is a dining choice based on foods you want to eat or not. Otherwise it's a great example of its type . hence the 4 stars.“

I live now, in the Western suburbs, about 30 miles away from donuts, and there are no donut places out here that even want to compare with don't donuts. “We read about Joe Doughnut Itasca and thought we would give it a try…pulled up to a Shell gas station?!? Wow we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. “Stans is a great place to stop in once you’ve landed in Chicago. This location is conveniently located near ORD and offers a variety of beverages, sandwiches and of course delicious donuts.
I opted to try their special banana matcha and it was delicious! Great quality matcha and addition of banana flavor.
As I arrived a little later in the afternoon the donut stock was limited but I tried one of their croissant donuts and it was delicious- not fresh but still good.

“Came for breakfast. Greeted and sat at the table immediately upon arrival. There are sooo many options on the menu. Great selections. They also gave the small donuts which were so good! “Stan’s Donuts has a few branches in Chicago but sadly, none in Dallas—and we miss it badly! They truly have some of the best donuts ever, especially their gluten-free chocolate donut. It’s so popular that it’s usually sold out unless you pre-order the night before or early in the morning. If you’re lucky enough to grab one without pre-ordering, consider it your lucky day!

It’s incredibly addictive—once you try it, you’ll keep craving it again and again. The packaging is also super cute, making the whole experience even better.

“I get decaf coffee almost every day and it's wonderful every morning. But at night forget it. Usually I thrown it out because you can't drink it's so bad. Even when I complain and give it back they don't make a new pot of decaf, they give me the same coffee diluted. Didn't they taste the coffee??? It is several hours old and it tastes bad. Good for day workers, Yuck for the evening workers. Tell them if decaf coffee sits for hours, make a new coffee.“

I visited this Dunkin' location for the first time over the weekend (Saturday evening), and it was one of the best experiences compared to any Dunkin' locations I have visited so far. The young guy at the counter was very courteous and attentive. He patiently listened to my kids' requests when selecting donuts, and the hot chocolate was hot and just right. They have the coffee and breakfast sandwiches down perfectly. I got an iced coffee to combat the snow and wind that Chicago is known for this time of year. After my visit, I took a stroll by Frank Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio, just a few blocks west.
