“I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.“

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“What an excellent eating experience!! The waiter was friendly and seemed to anticipate our requests. It was my first time in a Korean restaurant and I was glad that my son accompanied me and explained the various foods and choices. It was SO comfortable and enjoyable! The food was AMAZING! “I was on a soft diet for that diet and I thought of Olive Garden. I place a take out order because i had just left the hospital. I got there they was closed. I was willing to wait and i am glad i did. The food was great, Customer service meet my expectation. Branden was very friendly and professional. He is an asset to the company. I had not been to Olive Garden since you guys moved. I enjoyed my food. Hat off to the cooks. I will return very soon.“

“Loved Lima Fresca! We went on a Fri early eve and we’re able to get a table by the outside. The hostess was extremely nice and cheerful. Food was excellent and very reasonable! We had the chicken tinga quesadilla and some tacos, lots of quality meat in the menu items. Margaritas are small for the price. We are definitely going back soon!!!“

“I got a sandwich catering order from Starship, and ordered online a couple of weeks in advance. The order was delivered exactly on time, and was delicious. Catering sandwiches were cut in a great way, small enough where each person could have 2-3 sandwiches. Would recommend!“

“I found this gem after a long day of work and traveling. The staff was so welcoming and every person was genuinely friendly, and the service was excellent. The deep dish pizza was so good, especially the homemade sauce—it had so much flavor. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. If you're looking for great food and people who make you feel at home, this is definitely the place. We'll be coming back the next time we're in town!“

“Great customer service at this location, only my second time I've visited this particular one, but I'll have to make it a point to stop by more often. The crew gave me a very welcoming vibe. Plus you can't go wrong with the King Roast Beef Hot, with everything, plus chips. Has been my go to ever since I was a child. That was a long time ago! 😅“

“This restaurant is tucked in a massive, mostly empty building near an Asian grocery store. It gives the vibes of Beijing post 2008 Paralympics when all of a sudden no one made things look good for westerners. It’s cash only.
Despite appearances, this is the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had since I was in China in college! My husband and I went back multiple times while we were in town. It was great each time. They have an extensive menu so given that it’s not a bustling place, I’m not sure if the more eclectic dishes are super fresh. But again, you’re getting authentic cuisine and that’s sometimes part of it!
The jiao zi are amazing! The portion sizes are great for the price. You can’t get them in this amount or for the cost anywhere else in the Hinsdale or Oakbrook Terrace areas. Definitely recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for potstickers, dumplings, 2 tofu dishes, and sautéed mixed veggies. They may be able to make other vegetation dishes upon request.
Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is full up front but the lot itself is quite large. We did not struggle to find a place to park
Kid-friendliness: The building is a wide open floor plan with tables to accommodate families & groups. If a toddler needed to run, there’s lots of space to do that away from others eating. The bathroom, however, would pose a challenge for diaper changes. This building is so massive though that a nursing mom or a diaper changing dad could tuck away in one of the corners and have more privacy than a changing table in a multi stall bathroom. It’s dimly lit on the outer room edges away from the restaurants.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one floor. There are double doors to go through that may not have an operational hands-free opener. The floor layout has multiple tables with chairs and a free wider, open sections to get to the restaurant counter to order“

“I like to do the pick 2. I love their Autumn Squash soup, Cream of chicken and wild rice soup, and Broccoli cheddar soup. I pair it with the Turkey Bravo sandwich or Strawberry Poppyseed salad (Seasonal.) I tried the Creme Brulee Iced Latte today and it was good. It wasn't too sweet. I also enjoy their iced green tea flavors and frozen mocha drinks. The one is Glen Ellyn was super busy today and we had to wait awhile for our food. It's best to order ahead of you're getting it to go.“

“Yummy food....warm and cozy ciabetta dippers are back. Love the soup and 1/2 sandwich deal. My only complaint was when the iced tea was filled, some tea went on the lid and when I went to drink it, it dripped on my shirt. Ah well...should have looked. Everything else was perfect. Can't beat the chicken soup on a cold Chicago winter day.“

“Love the selection of food. Everything is always tasty and food is consistent in freshness and flavor. Lunch and dinner is a great time to go. The morning rush moves too slow with long lines and minimal cashiers. Try using the kiosk in the morning. That may move faster.“
