“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“I enjoyed it very much. Would have loved more options to be included without having to pay extra for everything but overall the food was delicious. I’m fulfilled. I actually stumbled upon this place, I was headed to another seafood place but it was too far, looked up near me and here this was. Came with complementary ice cream.“

“Why does the music have to be so loud? Everyone was yelling at each other. Couldn't hear the server 😅 just loud for no reason it wasn't even 8 yet.
Down in the delta was good. Flavourful. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Catfish was ok.
Cognac honey bbw wings were tasty but didn't taste Cognac.
Soul sister drink was exquisite
The table enjoyed the honey fried chicken and the salmon.“

“Shanahan's is one of my favorite places in Forest Park, I moved from Forest Park a few years ago but I still go to Shanahan's every chance I get. Their food is always excellent and they have the best staff on the street, they always remember my name and my order. I will give them more than 5 stars if I could!!“

“I'm kicking myself for having slept on this place for too long. I've been coming in semi-regularly for the last few months for coffee, bagels, and sometimes donuts before my morning commute. Always delicious, staff is always friendly, and I enjoy the atmosphere. I recommend bringing your own mug if you're getting coffee to-go because they're actively trying to minimize waste. Love that this place is in my neighborhood.“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. Absolutely delicious and with the owner/chef being very warm w/great hospitality. We’re definitely going back.“

“YOOOO the gilty pig is insane! They have "popped up" at my farm a few times now, and each time I am amazed by the flavors and complexity they bring to "simple dishes". They take a brat and turn it into a full asian inspired meal. Now if the food wasnt enough, this truck could not be run by two better people. They deserve all of the awesome things that are coming their way. Keep killin it, guys!“

“Update: It's s probably been 2 or so years since I've been in. Was in the neighborhood and had to stop in for nostalgia. Service is just as good as I remember and the food is still top notch! Shrimp Po boy and the wings tasted like I remember. Love the addition of the On Trend: Fire : It Slaps cocktail menu.
Excellent craft beer selection beyond just IPA's. Food has been consistently solid for the 7+ years I've been coming here.“
“The food is just so good“

“Dearly beloved, we gather here today, not in sorrow, but in reverence—for we have witnessed greatness, we have tasted divinity, and we have absolutely destroyed a mountain of crayfish with no regrets.
This was not just a meal. It was a battle. A joyous, buttery war waged with our bare hands, where the only casualties were the noble crustaceans and the napkins that tried, in vain, to contain the mess.
The moment we entered, the air was thick with the perfume of garlic, spice, and the promise of an unforgettable feast. The tables, lined with paper, awaited the carnage to come. And when the great bounty arrived—a steaming, glistening pile of crayfish, corn, and potatoes—we knew there was no turning back.
Oh, the crayfish! Their sacrifice was not in vain. They gave their tails willingly, their tiny claws raised in silent farewell as we cracked, peeled, and devoured. Each bite was a masterpiece, each morsel an ode to seasoning perfection. And let us not forget their steadfast companions: the corn, sweet and juicy, soaking up every drop of buttery goodness, and the potatoes, humble yet essential, a soft reprieve in this tempest of spice.
We leave this place not as we entered, but transformed—our fingers tingling, our faces glistening with the evidence of our triumph. We say farewell, but not goodbye, for we will return to honor the crayfish once more.
Rest in pieces, dear crustaceans. You were cherished. You were delicious. You were everything.“

“Got the $62 combo of snow crab, shrimp & crawfish, a pound each, to share for two people. Best seafood boil I’ve ever had. Loads of seafood. Also ordered the calamari, sausage and bread to dip in the mad sauce. 100% recommend if you are looking for seafood boil.“
“They have the best shrimp and grits! When they are at the CCDOC I know it's going to be a good day!“

“So glad I noticed it walking by and came back with my husband for dinner. The menu has lots of choices but we were only two so will have to check out different options next time. We each had dinners, he choosing 1/2 baby back ribs, Mac and cheese, cornbread. I had 1/2 slab brisket, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Side portions were generous and the collard greens were fantastic! Mac and cheese was terrific and the meats were just perfect. Service was great and price was just as great. Washed it all down with classic Margaritas. Great addition to neighborhood in same spot Fat Willy’s left when closed for good.“

“The crab & shrimp boil bag was good, it’s nice they have a variety is spice levels and sauces. However we didn’t receive the sides we ordered. The waiter was happy to remove them from the bill, but still a little disappointing to not receive the items. Our waiter was friendly and nice but they seemed a little understaffed.
Parking: Free parking lot across the street at Jewel Osco/Lowes & metered parking along Milwaukee“
