“We loved our food, my son got the honey sliders and mom got the Louisiana bugger and I got the black bugger. The fries were plenty, my daughter loved my bugger and we had to come back. Mom got the rice and beans, son got the half chicken and I went for the catfish...then ofcourse my daughter ordered the black bugger. We'll definitely be back when in town again, the ratio for the rice and beans was little though. We got some fries to go. Overall, we loved the food!“

“First time eating here and my goodness, it was delicious! The owner Eric was so kind and so was Adil. Customer service was 10/10! We drove from Schaumburg and it was worth the drive. We ordered 3 boils and everything was FRESH! Quality is very important to me, esp when it comes to seafood, so I was very pleased. Everything was flavorful and came out nice and hot. I highly recommend this place and really hope this establishment flourishes. 💜“

“Found this delectable gem on the west side of Chicago and let me tell you, I was soooo glad we found it! Kitchen n Kocktails canceled our reservation because someone famous came to their establishment and turned us away at the door!!!!! We were greeted at Soul’e with a pleasant smile, clean building, nice music and was seated right away (even though he suggested making a reservation). Our waitress Mya was so sweet and attentive. She made recommendations for almost everything on the menu lol. We ordered the catfish, dirty rice, sweet potatoes, fried chicken, greens and cream corn (I know a lot but wanted to sample), let me tell you everything was FIYA! Even with the crowd they had, we didn’t wait long for our food. We got a chance to talk to the owner to let her know about our experience and she was the absolute sweetest. If you’re ever in Chi check them out, you will not be disappointed!“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. Absolutely delicious and with the owner/chef being very warm w/great hospitality. We’re definitely going back.“

“Cozy cafe with an admirable dedication to reducing waste and in particular plastic coffee cup usage. I really appreciated the stainless steel, freezing cold cup for my iced coffee. Sandwich was very bland and overall disappointing for the price paid, which was excessive. Coffee was decent, service was quick and efficient, and it was a fun place to hangout for 30 minutes.“

“Update: It's s probably been 2 or so years since I've been in. Was in the neighborhood and had to stop in for nostalgia. Service is just as good as I remember and the food is still top notch! Shrimp Po boy and the wings tasted like I remember. Love the addition of the On Trend: Fire : It Slaps cocktail menu.
Excellent craft beer selection beyond just IPA's. Food has been consistently solid for the 7+ years I've been coming here.“
“YOOOO the gilty pig is insane! They have "popped up" at my farm a few times now, and each time I am amazed by the flavors and complexity they bring to "simple dishes". They take a brat and turn it into a full asian inspired meal. Now if the food wasnt enough, this truck could not be run by two better people. They deserve all of the awesome things that are coming their way. Keep killin it, guys!“

“It's in the hood but that just means it's worth the drive. We lived in Chicago for a few years and my MIL was the one who introduced us to this place. Stopped in after my son's dr appointment before heading back home an hour away. It was so worth it. The flavor and the amount alone is worth it. Spicy rice with the blackened chicken is my favvvv.“

“So satisfied!!! From Ah-mazing people who work here and a yummy meal (Jambalaya Soup, Catfish Po Boy, Surf and Turf), located in the Southport Corridor (not too far from home, and very close to Wrigley Field). Highly recommend for fun yummy vibes in an awesome location.

“Fatso's Last Stand, always rated among the top 10 hot dogs stands in Chicago by various food critics, has its flagship restaurant at 2258 West Chicago Avenue in Ukrainian Village and a newer location, which is much more convenient to me, at 1982 North Clybourn, at Armitage, in Clybourn Commons, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Open from 11 to 8 daily for pickup or delivery, it is a neighborhood snack bar that advertises Chicago's best char-grilled hot dogs and other delicious comfort food items that keeps customers coming back for more and more, like chili dogs, char grilled or griddled smashed Fatso burgers, Cleo's home-made chili with onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese, Maxwell Street style Polish sausage with mustard and grilled onions, Fatso's jumbo fried shrimp, mac and cheese and milk shakes with such flavors as chocolate, banana, Oreo, strawberry, vanilla, mint chip and Reese's peanut butter. But have you tried theSuper Ooey Gooey, Fatso's latest two-fisted creation? It is two smash beef patties stuffed with applewood smoked bacon, Merkt's cheddar cheese and giardiniera topped with Fatso sauce, tomato, lettuce and onion. Of course, you can't pass up Fatso's signature item, the char dog, served Chicago-style with mustard, relish, onion, tomato, sport peppers and celery salt. And the char-grilled Fatso burger served on a toasted bun with Fatso sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and applewood smoked bacon. With home-made fresh cut fries. Wash it all down with a chocolate milk shake. Or two of them.“
“The first time I tried CHAR CRUST I was given a sample packet of the Hickory flavor and tried it on a ribeye steak, hands down best steak I've ever eaten, the Char Crust complimented the steak and not over powered it. The next day I placed an order on Amazon, since then I have purchased the Chipotle flavor and seasoned a freshly graded hashbrown Omelette. I can't wait to try the rest of the seasonings from Char Crust. If you haven't tried it yet please order some today It's Goat Lipping. Thanks,Big Al“

“Happy I came into this restaurant, This is my first time visiting Illinois. I arrived during happy hour, this spot was a glowing gem. I was greeted and seated quickly, the ambiance in the building was pleasant and calming the music was fitting and relaxing! I ordered multiple items, really was on a budget but the taste of the food I originally ordered was too good to not leave without getting the meal I was craving for a few days I ordered crab fried rice, pomegrate cocktail, peach lychee tea (non alcohol), I also ordered an happy hour boil! The food was amazing, full of flavor and cooked well done! I received a cute bib that read im too cute to be crabby which lit up my day! Would highly recommend!“

“I visited Lowcountry South Loop during my trip to Chicago, and it was such a fun and memorable dining experience. The casual, lively atmosphere made it the perfect place to enjoy a seafood feast with friends.
I ordered a seafood boil with shrimp, crab, corn, potatoes, and sausage, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was rich without being overpowering, and eating straight from the table made the whole meal feel interactive and enjoyable. The portions were generous and definitely worth sharing.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu and spice levels, which was helpful for a first-time visitor. Service was quick, and the team made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
One tip: wear something casual because seafood boils can get a little messy—that’s part of the fun! If you're dining with a group, order different combinations so everyone can sample a variety of seafood.
Overall, I had an excellent experience at Lowcountry South Loop. Thank you to the entire team for the delicious food, great service, and fun atmosphere. I’d definitely come back on my next visit to Chicago.“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“
