“It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.

“We were on our way home from a Labor Day road trip and looking for something to carry out for dinner. We were passing through the neighborhood and had read some decent, if not exactly glowing, reviews for this place, so we decided to give it a try.

Parking was easy—we found a spot right in front—and there was a steady trickle of people going in. The dining room isn’t currently open, but there’s a takeout window. We ordered the ribs, shrimp fried rice and egg roll combo, along with beef with broccoli and another egg roll.

The phone was ringing, another customer came in, and things seemed pretty busy. We were told to come back in about 20 minutes. While we waited, we walked over to the nearby supermercado/carniceria/taqueria and grabbed some tacos too. When we returned, there were several more customers waiting, along with a delivery driver picking up an order. It ended up taking a little longer than 20 minutes, but we didn’t mind. The place was clearly busy, which I always take as a good sign.

As for the food, it was only average. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. That said, we were perfectly okay with it. It’s surprisingly hard to find reasonably priced, no-frills Chinese takeout in Chicago, and sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for.

Not a destination-worthy meal, but a solid neighborhood option when you want inexpensive Chinese takeout without any fuss.“

“We went there for lunch and they have many specials till 3:00 pm under $11. It comes with a large stuffed egg roll it was very good.
I had the chicken chop suey with fried rice nice size portion(enough for 2 meals) and a fortune cookie. The food is Delicious and very reasonably priced with good service!! This was my 2nd time there and will definitely be going back again.“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. “So originally I was going to go close to my work to a Thai restaurant called Bree on Archer and Central Ave I just came from a long day of sitting on the floor measuring thresholds of doors outside and inside. Anyways I've seen this restaurant pastor by since most of the work was going this direction and so by the time we got out it was almost 1:00. So I decided to try this place and I was actually quite surprised. Ambience was like a hole in the wall retro Chinese restaurant with the traditiona Chinese l red lanterns and a goldfish with koi aquarium which is supposed to be a symbol of good luck. Anyways I went for lunch special and knowing a lot of other Chinese restaurants usually the lunch special is not portion-wise a full meal while you will be surprised for $1.095 to get the lunch special here because it's a full meal. I had the Mongolian beef which really to me look more like pepper steak than Mongolian beef but it was good but the portions were big likewise with the the fried rice and I even paid $2 extra for beef had I known I would have ordered extra appetizer Andre such as the pot stickers which was fried and surprisingly steamed but it was a combination of both the portions for that was big I had those to finish and take back to the office since I couldn't finish them. Also the lunch special comes with egg rolls. The egg rolls were just meh good it's typical Chinese egg roll. Deep fried and with bean sprouts. The wonton soup was actually pretty good if not delicious most of the time in other Chinese restaurants it's just the wonton and very little meat. This one actually had some pork meat and some onions. Other than that it was a good. I would come back again especially for their lunch specials I would just order that it's a cheap order for 1095 and you got a lot especially in this day and age where dining out for anything not just expensive Gibson steakhouse or even other Asian cuisine like Thai is over $20. I of course ordered more and I ended up spending almost $40 but next time I'll just order the lunch special and that order any extras. Interesting to see have a Latino Hispanic server served me in a Chinese restaurant LOL. But the staff in the kitchen is Asian.“

Let me just say that eastern Tennessee does not have Chinese food on the same level as Chicago, and Mo's is one of my favorites. I stopped by for lunch and got the lunch special kung po beef, which came with a silky delicious cup of egg drop soup, fried rice or steamed rice (I prefer steamed), and one of their very tasty egg rolls. “They have great luncheon specials with generous portions and a free egg roll. I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“
