When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“Crumble. Great tasting cookie, horrible for you. Not a fan of the Tinley Park location. Closed Sundays n then cookies are so thick they cook funny n get hard fast. Not like other locations alot thicker of a cookie. Ends up cooking funny due to the thickness as well. Makes it not as fresh like my normal crumble. Unless they were sitting due to the new everyday flavors. Which its about time crumble. Try the pink icing cookie, love it. Be ready for a sugar rush, possibly too much. I love it but not the best for you.“

“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

I of curse had to have my lemon fluff cupcake, a pastry and who could say no to an apple slice. But the true treats are the lovely and kind ladies working the counter. “I called at the last minute for a delivery ( I live in Ohio ) found Creme by Ashley on line ! I called her and she was helpful, cheerful, and was able to deliver cupcakes for a birthday same day !!! She sent me pictures of what she sent out and they looked incredible ! She was unable to find the recipient at address i gave her and she called me I called the recipient and she waited for them to get to door. Forever grateful I found a caring person who delivered..I heard from recipient incredible tasting cupcakes !!! Thank you for making my day and the recipients by your kindness, helpfulness and incredible cupcakes !!“

“Entering this place it can seem hectic if it’s rush hour. But rest assured the workers here are so efficient. The food here is so good! They have many combinations that attend to all palettes. Their smoothies are amazing I love the strawberry the best. I stop here whenever I can.“

I will definitely pay another visit and try one of their coffees. I’m not really into desserts so I can’t rate their desserts but you can if you pay them a visit .“

“We’ve been buying cakes from here since 2022, and all I can say is — they’re amazing! While they’re not the cheapest, they are absolutely worth every penny. We won’t buy our cakes from any other bakery. We live about 40 minutes away, and we’re more than willing to make the drive for their delicious cakes. Their bread and display case desserts are also really good. You have to try them! Plus, the owners are incredibly kind. Hemos estado comprando pasteles aquí desde el 2022, ¡y solo puedo decir que son increíbles! Aunque no son los más baratos, valen completamente la pena. No compramos nuestros pasteles en ninguna otra pastelería. Vivimos a unos 40 minutos de distancia, y con gusto hacemos el viaje por sus deliciosos pasteles. Su pan también es muy bueno, al igual que los postres que tienen en exhibición. Tienen que probarlos. Además, los dueños son súper amables.“
