“Real gem of a deli in Willow Spring. Staff really efficient, focused, and friendly. Standard deli menu supplemented with creative options—Super Deluxe All-Beef Slim Jim sandwich anyone? I had an excellent shrimp and crab cake po boy (pictured) and my companion had the whitefish dinner. The place had a steady stream of locals—this deli is clearly a local lunch hot spot. And for good reason—good food and good value. Not much seating inside, but a decent-sized patio out back which will be great in warm weather.“

“The catering was great BEST deals compared to other restaurants in that area. Food was fresh and flavorful especially the Italian beef.... definitely had me surprised. The fried chicken was good could use a bit more seasoning. Whipped potatoes were amazing you could actually see the melted butter on top, baked beans yummy even the cole slaw was good. My husband and I knew we wanted to do great and delicious mexican food for our wedding and we were struggling to find someone who could do that in a large venue setting, and was willing to travel to Janesville, Wisconsin. I found Rossy through tons of research online and so happy I did! She is so incredibly kind and we enjoyed taking the drive to Chicago where she cooked right in front of us a variety of options to try for our wedding.I know that my husband and I probably over communicated often in the 9 months leading up to the wedding with tons of questions and making sure all would go right. She was so patient and kind, communicated with us as we needed, and made sure we were confident with the day of.The day of was amazing! The set up of the food was great for a buffet for 220 people! It was delicious and was a HUGE talk even after the wedding from family and friends. “It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“

The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. We went with three main dishes and three sides. Beef, fried chicken and mostaccioli along with mashed potatoes, gravy, caesar salad. and green beans almondine. Everyone complimented how great the food tasted. We heard compliments about how fresh the salad was to how great the dressing tasted to the beef was great, right down to all the other entrees! Your prices can not be beat!!!! Plus you include dinnerware, plates and napkins. Not to mention service with a smile. it must have been 90 degrees on the day of my son's graduation party and the driver was very nice and very fast at setting up. I would highly suggest your services to anyone out there!!!!! We had leftovers and the mostaccioli still tasted as good heated up and was not dry several days later!!!! Way to go Valley Inn!“
