“Excellent Food and Service ! Patty Melt, Burger and Chicken Fingers were awesome. Manager Anita is so friendly and cares - it shows just by seeing how nice the ambiance of this bar is !!!! Stop in - the staff is friendly, food is great, they have an awesome selection of cocktails & beers and a ton of TVs to watch any sporting event that is going on - not a bad seat in the house !!!!! They also have live music with great sound - check out their schedule on Facebook !! Saw Five Guys Named Moe on NYE - EXCELLENT show, EXCELLENT service & EXCELLENT time with friends !!!!“

“Nice local restaurant! I got the avo vegan chorizo wrap, and my partner got the chicken avo flatbread. As well as shared the avo cheescake. All were delicious. Good vibe inside and the people working were very friendly! Would definitely recommend.“

“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams,gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! I would say it’s the best I’ve tried around the area. We got the combo special number 1, banana and Nutella crepes (with right amount of sweetness) and cheese blintzes (a little too sweet side). “Had a double date night with friends and we loved this place. The ambiance's is cozy and romantic and is dimly lit is some places. The food was amazing. We ordered the bread appetizer and I highly recommend this. It comes in a cast iron skillet and with a butter candle. As the candle melts this rosemary flavored aroma fills the air and you can dip the bread it is buttery goodness. The staff were professional and so friendly. I highly recommend making reservations. We were here on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. If you want you can always snag a seat at the bar. My husband said it was the best old fashion he's ever had and they used a smoker on it.“

We kicked off our meal with the Salmon Tartare, a light yet flavorful starter that left me wanting more. The Mahi Mahi, with its coconut curry, was rich and satisfying--I'm crossing my fingers that it becomes a permanent menu item. “Nice local spot with affordable prices ! Small cozy place . So best to get there a little early so you don’t have to wait for a seat . My service was fast and attentive. All the workers are really friendly . I got the Greek French Toast with whip cream . I recommend the Hash Browns . The other dish I shared was the Hobo Skillet . I really enjoyed the cut up potato’s in the dish . Going to come back for lunch next time to try the Sloppy Joe’s . This is a cash only place and they only stay open till 2pm .“

Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“I loved my meal so much that I had to immediately sit down and write this place a review. I had the crispy steak crispy mix with fries and and drink, and it was worth every single penny. It was around $15, which, when places like McDonald's want $13 for a Big Mac meal, there's really no point in NOT paying the extra $2 for something that tastes this amazing. The person (i'm assuming owner) who took my order was kind and friendly, I felt welcome. You'd be surprised how many places fail at that. The flavors and aroma coming from my food were out of this world, and I won't be forgetting this place anytime soon. They really offer that Chicago flavor and menu right here in Oak Forest.“

“Mom of the Year here because my 10-year-old said he had the best birthday ever here. I called for info, the response was prompt and helpful. I wasn't sure how many bays to reserve and how much food to order for 25 boys but Kathy and Dominic were very helpful and didn't try to oversell. The host and bar staff were amazing. Sodas were refilled promptly and pizzas, nugs and fries came out on time and hot. The staff was beyond gracious. We are coming back over break so we can play and eat some more and will definitely keep in mind for future parties!“

“Fry the coop easily has one of if not the BEST chicken sandwiches out there right now. The seasoned fries are also absolutely amazing. The reason I leave the three stars instead of five in service is because of how unfair the takeout is. SIDENOTE: I have no problems with the workers at all. These are the bags they are told to fill so they do it. The workers here are great people. I have come to this location for years (since roughly the second week of it’s opening) and the last few times I’ve ordered take out, the serving of fry’s has been SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the amount of fries you get if you dine in. I get it, it’s just fries, BUT if I’m going to pay roughly eighteen dollars for the same meal I should receive the same amount someone who is dining in receives. The photos include ALL the fries that came with the order (I took the fries out of the bottom of the bag as well and put them in there).TL;DR: great food, takeout portion of fries is MUCH smaller yet still fully priced“

“I've been dining here and holding family parties here for 20+ years. the interior and patio are beautiful. the food is excellent and the prices are competitive. But the service is exemplary. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and the bartender was terrific. we booked a table on the patio and as we were being seated my elderly mother asked if we could sit inside and they immediately and happily accommodated our last minute change. our waitress was wonderful and patient with the two senior citizens dining with us. I cannot say enough great things about Jens. it is our go to for every family celebration and many dinners in between.“

Needless to say, I have been to The Works Tavern a few times and it's some of the best food in Chicago, especially on the south side. Mike is a culinary expert and my last visit proved it. I legitimately had the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. The steak was juicy, the bread was soft and the cheese was super cheesy (10/10).The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold and my kids love the pizza! On our last visit, we ordered the fried zucchini, a pepperoni pizza, wings, and the Philly cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and we washed it down with $3 Pacifico beers. Can't beat that.“

It was wonderful to see Patrick doing the Mixology while the other restaurant is in process of opening apparently this spring.This time around, Katherine and I stopped by for a craft cocktail, and we ended up enjoying the happy hour oysters that were very good.I have never offered a single suggested critique of Vie or Vistro.The only request I have is for the manager of Vistro Prime is to check the barstools at the bar.My barstool was wobbly, and it likely/ simply needs to be tightened up. I’m a handy person and have constructed and repaired barstools; so possibly, the hardware for some of your barstools needs to be tightened up and or repaired.They are beautiful barstools!Other than that, I completely recommend Vistro Prime to every and anyone that receives this review and all my friends and family as always!“

“My wife and I visited Pepper Mill on February 1, 2024. Tye restaurant was clean and taken care of. We were immediately acknowledged after entering and seated within a couple minutes. I ordered the Turkey dinner which was recommended by friends. A couple and salad accompanied the meal and it was on special that evening. The soup I selected was cream of chicken rice. Tye flavor was good but I felt it needed to be thinned out. Salad was fresh and enjoyable. The Turkey dinner was thinly sliced from fresh Turkey breast. The meat was tasty and not dry. It was layered over stuffing that was lightly seasoned. I chose mashed potato's and steamed broccoli. The potatoes tasted like they were either from a box or a mix of boxed and fresh. The broccoli was fresh and cooked nice. The Turkey gravy was layered over the potato's and the Turkey. It was flavorful and seasoned nicely. My wife chose the Meatloaf and said it was good also. We both felt the price was reasonable and we would return. Our server was excellent and added to the experience.“

“My girlfriend and I visited last week. Immediately, we were both very enlivened by the warm and personable interactions we received. Our food came quickly and our usual extra requests were met with care. When we were finishing our food which we both enjoyed, the owner who had just come out from working the kitchen to relax and asked us how everything was before sitting down. I made a point to approach and say how good the coleslaw was. The owner responded very appreciatively and explained that they try to make it with good intention. Overall, we felt like we were contributing to the livelihood of good people that took a long time to build.
