Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. “I been to this place over a few times and I never been disappointed, and they opened this new location in Orland park. When you walk in the atmosphere automatically hits you full of warm white marble and brown coffee colors. The place is very clean and awesome for studying because they have mini study pods!!! So enjoy your coffee and study effortlessly. As for when I order, every staff member there is wonderful. Patient, attentive, and swift. I had ordered a new item called the cream cheese cinnamon bun!! It was mouth watering (10/10 must try again) and amazing iced coffee!! So with that being said definitely stop by this location.“

This dish is plenty for a hungry soul. The chicken is flavored perfectly, the rice is also flavored perfectly. The beef and lamb are cooked and flavored well also. Everything is seasoned, so good that I didn't need to use the three sauces that came with the meal. Everything time I fly into Midway, I am definitely making a stop when I land or when I'm going home.“
