“My teenage daughter had been wanting to try Dave’s Hot Chicken for a while, so I finally took her, her friend, my son, and his friend.

I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was well-seasoned, flavorful, and the quality was very good—comparable to Chick-fil-A in quality, but with its own unique taste. The chicken sandwich had a generous portion, with plenty of chicken extending beyond the bun.

The standard sauces were good, especially the mayo-based sauce. We also tried the Hot Honey sauce. It had great flavor, but it wasn’t very spicy. If you like heat, you’ll probably need something spicier. Just keep in mind that some specialty sauces come with an additional charge.

The restaurant was fairly clean, had a steady flow of customers, and the service was good.

The only downside for me was the price. The food was tasty, but I felt it was a bit overpriced, which is why I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, it was a good experience, and I wouldn’t mind going back.“

“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. “I been to this place over a few times and I never been disappointed, and they opened this new location in Orland park. When you walk in the atmosphere automatically hits you full of warm white marble and brown coffee colors. The place is very clean and awesome for studying because they have mini study pods!!! So enjoy your coffee and study effortlessly. As for when I order, every staff member there is wonderful. Patient, attentive, and swift. I had ordered a new item called the cream cheese cinnamon bun!! It was mouth watering (10/10 must try again) and amazing iced coffee!! So with that being said definitely stop by this location.“

You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. Perfectly thin crust, just the right amount of sauce, and loaded with toppings that can fit any craving. With the number of years, I have been visiting, I have tried almost everything on the menu from their pizza to their pastas to their appetizers and I keep on going back. “I'm my way to Midway and decided to get something to eat and I decided to go to the Best Shawerma. Let me tell you!!! I am glad that I decided to stop here. I got the combination plate. This dish is plenty for a hungry soul. The chicken is flavored perfectly, the rice is also flavored perfectly. The beef and lamb are cooked and flavored well also. Everything is seasoned, so good that I didn't need to use the three sauces that came with the meal. Everything time I fly into Midway, I am definitely making a stop when I land or when I'm going home.“
