“We came here for my sister’s birthday and had a blast. The staff was welcoming and our chef was so funny and entertaining. I think this is the most fun I’ve had at a dinner in years. The food was also phenomenal and serving sizes were very generous. I ordered scallops hibachi and sushi. The sushi tasted fresh, and the scallops were buttery soft! I can’t wait to come back again“

The Asian Tacos and Crazy Jalapeño are a must for starters and I've yet to have a specialty roll I didn't love, to include a few off-menu rolls. Be sure to ask your server about those. I have food intolerances and they happily make my ramen without noodles but they add their soup veggies to it and it's just absolutely delicious. I appreciate their efforts in allowing me to swap out the noodles. I know ordering ramen without the noodles is a weird request but they never hesitate and I can't thank them enough for it. Most people have their go-to spot for strip mall sushi, and Ichiban is probably that spot for a lot of people. They're not breaking any new ground here, but the service is good, the restaurant is clean and the sushi is delicious. I've only been there a few times for their all-you-can-eat lunch special, and at $21.95/pp the value is right there. They do offer an extensive menu that features a bigger variety of sushi, as well as Cantonese and Hibachi entrees. I would like to visit again in the evening and sample some of the other items offered on their menu. The all-you-can-eat lunch special features appetizers, pieces of nigiri, common rolls, and a selection of specialty rolls. All of the items I've had have been really good. Great spot to go for a reasonably priced, delicious lunch!“

“Me and wife went for dinner, we're Sushi lovers and we ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls, plus the agadashi tofu. They were delicious, I can't say the best, but there tasty. I would definitely recommend the place.Service was great, no complaints about it.The atmosphere was ok, we could talk over dinner and enjoy ourselves, not like other loud places.Place wasn't crowded even on a Friday. “Overall I give it a 4 but I'm giving the food a 3. I’ve been here five or six other times, but this time was not the best experience. I had basil fried rice with shrimp. The shrimp were delicious, but the rice wasn’t fried at least not to my liking and I could barely taste the basil. As a matter fact, it didn’t even taste like Thai food. “This was our first time coming here. It is located in a strip mall and is smaller than I expected but cozy. We came here tonight to celebrate our son's birthday. Since his birthday fell on Superbowl Sunday, when we arrived, two other families were finishing their dinner, so we had the place to ourselves after they left. With this being said, the service was wonderful! Staff was very attentive and we loved our chef, Andy. I wish I had taken a video of him twirling the spatulas around because he was awesome, engaging, and funny! For appetizers, we ordered sushi and spring rolls. The birthday celebrant ordered filet mignon and lobster, my daughter ordered the chicken and salmon, hubby ordered the steak and lobster, and I ordered the salmon and lobster. The prices are very reasonable: Specialty rolls are $10-12, and the basic rolls are 2 for $10. Most places in the area are charging $14-$21 for a specialty roll. The size of roll was perfect, not too big not too small and so much flavor in each bite. None of my rolls fell apart, just all around quality. The owner is from Korea so I’m disappointed I did not try the Korean specialties, but ordered Bibimbab to go.
