“I have been coming here for years and Ruma Izakaya remains my favorite Japanese spot in the area. From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! “On 4/1/2026 i visited Sakura, i quickly found out it is a HIDDEN GEM! I had the hibachi combnation noodles and for $17.89 you get A MEAL they cooked the steak,chicken and shrimp to perfection! Full of zuccini, carrots mushrooms and seasoned& sauced perfectly. They just got themselves a lifetime customer!!!“

“This was our first time visiting, and my friend and I were looking for a quick bite after a stressful week. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the staff were really helpful. We asked for recommendations, and they offered several options. We went with their suggestions, and everything we tried was delicious! Some of the dishes were new to us, and I genuinely enjoyed everything. We had fun, and the food and drinks made for a really satisfying visit.“

“Good quality food. Menu is good what doesn't offer much for the adventurous. Ingredients for the rolls follow a predictable path and use crab stick for almost all the crab rolls. Enjoy the sauces and would say the food is very consistent. Lots of choices for those who do not want sushi.“

“Stopped in today for lunch, had a sushi roll and the Kinya Ramen Bowl. Both were excellent, would definitely recommend. Was a bit confused on the exterior as this restaurant is also still operating as a Hook and Reel seafood. Excited to not have to go to the city for good ramen!“

“On Thursday, 5/30, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant. Our favorite server, Rita, was assisting us. During our meal, we witnessed a front desk employee yelling at Rita and slamming his hands on the table, causing a significant disturbance that was noticeable to many patrons. Despite this unprofessional behavior, Rita maintained her composure and continued to provide exceptional service. Her professionalism and dedication to her customers were commendable. We will definitely return, thanks to Rita's outstanding service.“

“Our Friendship Luncheon group had 30 people at its January gathering there yesterday. They only had 1 waiter taking orders, so it was 4 diners at a time. Food came quickly after ordering, but last table had ordered 30 minutes after the first.“

“RAAAAAAH BEST PLACE TO GO TOO!! it was peak for my 12th birthday so much food and the guy cooking was funny AND THEY GIVE CHEESECAKE FOR BIRTHDAYS AND SING😁😁😁 it felt so awesome I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming 5 STARS WILL GO BACK NEXT YEAR FOR MY 13TH BIRTHDAY 😁😁“
