“We came straight from the airport and had several hours before we could check into our Airbnb. We found this spot online and decided to take a chance, and we’re glad that we did.

The best thing I can say about this place is that they were very accommodating and had an extremely kind staff. We had luggage with us and were basically killing time before check-in, and they made us feel completely comfortable.

You might not even notice City Bear Cafe driving by, but if you are looking for a delicious meal in a down to earth, comfortable environment, check it out! The homemade salsa and breakfast potatoes are excellent. I had the breakfast burrito and loved it. My son had the nutella waffle, which had tons of fruit and whipped cream. Everything was great. “I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “I was a steady customer but will not be returning to this establishment again. Today I asked to sit in a booth and James, the owner said "We're too busy to sit one person in a "big" booth. (I was the only one waiting for a table.) So the waitress wanted me to sit at a table. The "big" booth seats 4. The table they wanted me to sit at also seats 4. The only difference is the booth doesn't hurt my back like the hard chairs do. I'm dying of cancer, which James is aware of, I have enough pain I don't need any more by sitting on hard chairs. Well he won't have to worry about being so "busy" to let someone have some comfort he's got one less patron. I'm done with this place.“

“We stumbled upon Flying Saucer while visiting Chicago and are glad we did. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff were friendly, helpful and on top of it. This is the type of restaurant I wish I had in my neighborhood. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit.“

“Had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy breakfast at this fun little Cafe. Right off of Rand rd by Tony's Market in Arlington heights. Had the Popeye Benedict so yummy perfectly poached eggs and fresh fruit so tasty. Definitely worth atleast one visit but you'll find that won't be enough.“

I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“
