“I was there after what I assume is the busy time, so I had the dining room to myself. There was a steady stream of folks in the drive thru though. The "Deluxe Single Basket" was more than enough to fill me up. I had to buy a take-home pint, too full for dessert. The staff were friendly and at least one was always cleaning something.“

“Bunny’s Tavern never disappoints. We often visit before seeing shows at the Station Theatre, and get drinks after. The food and drinks were great as always, and the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay longer than you planned…which we definitely did tonight, hanging out and playing the slots right up until close. What really stood out, though, was a moment of genuine kindness from the staff. Just before closing, a very elderly gentleman came in wearing his Illini gear, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, clearly thinking it was morning or game time, even though the game had long since ended. He sat down and asked for a cup of coffee, and the bartenders greeted him by name. When they gently told him it was nearly midnight and they didn’t have any coffee brewed. He was completely surprised. “You gotta be kidding me!!” One of the bartenders sat with him, spoke kindly and calmly, and then said she’d walk him home and help reset the clock in his apartment again. After what was clearly a long shift, seeing that level of patience and compassion was honestly beautiful. Great food, great drinks, and truly good people behind the bar. That kind of grace says everything about a place. I’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending it.“

“Had early dinner at the Big Grove and was completely blown away. Food was excellent with a variety of menu items that had me wishing my stomach was a bit bigger. I sat at the bar as I was dining alone and the bartender did a great job of explaining the various items I inquired about as well as suggesting a perfect craft beer pairing. I only get to Champaign a couple of times a year, but this will be my go-to anytime in the area.“

“They changed the recipe of the fries and I am devastated. We went from thin, crunchy, delicious fries with garnish to the basic french fries with no flavor. They’re only good with dipping sauce or another food item. I used to ONLY order french fries, but not anymore because they don’t taste the same. ? THEY ALSO RAISED THE PRICE FROM $2.50 TO $3.00!!!! ?“

“The best place in town to get breakfast. The only thing I would say is get here early because they tend to get busy, just as any other breakfast place in town. The food always comes out hot, fresh, and very quickly. I'm honestly impressed with how consistent this place is.“

“Came in 2 hours til close July 18th. They said the air wasn't working and they only had one server and one cook. 3 groups were came in after us and we still had AMAZING food and service. I wish I could remember the servers name cause she was serving and bartending! She was just wonderful, kind, patient and funny! The cheeseburger wontons are my new favorite also!“

“Seriously the best restaurant around. I rarely eat out because my body is sensitive to low quality oils and unnatural ingredients. But The Wheelhouse is one of very few that my body responds well to the food. Highest praise for their commitment to locally sourced ingredients and creatively flavorful dishes. Awesome wine selection and friendly down-to-earth staff. We love coming here!“

“Order from Door Dash, food was still nice and warm even on a -3 degree day! Mac N Cheese was super tasty. Chicken fingers a bit spicey for my taste but good. Chicken Gravy had LOTS of Black Pepper (too much for my liking). Sould tame it down on the Black Pepper on the Chicken and Gravy as those condiments can be added for each persons taste.“
