“Ordered via Uber Eats and they ran out of something I ordered. I spoke with the owner over the phone and they offered to substitute for something else. Their customer service was great!When the food arrived it was fresh, well seasoned, and was great portion size. Super happy I tried this new restaurant and I don't have a single regret!I've been looking for a Soul Food restaurant in the area and am not disappointed. I'll definitely be back soon!“

Food was delicious, comes with fries and optional lemon pepper on them (they’ll ask you). Big portions and the prices are very fair. They seem like good people as well, I’ll def be coming back!“

Decided before we even drove 600 miles up here to come to merichkas friday the day after thankgiving and invite the family out to join us. made reservations for 6pm for a large table ,our 10 party members showed up on time . our table was ready . for parties over 8 people an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. our waitress forgot to bring a salad , didnt refill a few drinks even after being asked, forgot to drop my daughters porkchop order so it didnt come until everyone else was just about done eating so they comped and put it up in a take home box. for demanding 18% tip we should have had impeccable table service. definitely not the merichkas we remember.“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. But I definitely recommend this food for all of you avid foodies and lechon lovers.“

I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. I figured you don't ask unless it's popular. Boy it did not disappoint imo. Super fire! The coleslaw was good, it's very simple. If I had to "complain" the only thing I was just ok with was the fries. Only reason why is I like mine more crispy. They were still good though. Both the mild (bbq?)and hot (thicker style of a Louisiana mixed with Frank's?) sauces were good. For the price and portions it's definitely worth the try. “This is my go to for catfish filets and wings. I accidentally ordered regular catfish peices vs the fillets and was so happy I did, the flavor was great and they were perfectly fried and had very little bones.

This time around I also ordered the hot links and they were really good as well. This location never disappoints.“

“For a little seafood shack right next to the apartment complex, they present such wonderful signature dishes.
Whether it's for the sushi (ate before photo, sorry) or the Stuffed Coconut (Cocoa Rellano). I just love trying out their signature dishes. They are so fascinating to see either on your table or order for take-out.

Will come back again for the Pina Rallena! (Stuffed Pineapple) and with a better Spanish vocabulary! Se un poco español...

“My friend and I were biking around when we found this adorable little resturaunt with some of the best asian food I have ever had. I have been to some of the nicest Asian restaurants in the country, including Shanghai Terrace in downtown Chicago at the Peninsula and this beats all of it.
