“Ordered via Uber Eats and they ran out of something I ordered. I spoke with the owner over the phone and they offered to substitute for something else. Their customer service was great!When the food arrived it was fresh, well seasoned, and was great portion size. Super happy I tried this new restaurant and I don't have a single regret!I've been looking for a Soul Food restaurant in the area and am not disappointed. I'll definitely be back soon!“

“I had the General Tso's chicken today in the lunch special. the portion size is very good I don't think there is anyone out there who would leave hungry. Enjoy the flavor of the General Tso's chicken and the fried rice. The employees were also kind and friendly.“

Excellent choices of seafood and other non-traditional dishes. My wife said that her seafood burrito would be on her last meal request! Ha! More pricey than a regular Mexican restaurant but worth it. “If you're looking for AMAZING chicken tenders and service, this is your place! They're cheap, quick and friendly. Don't get the catfish nuggets, though. They're a waste of money. They're way too hard to chew and not very good.“

The interior was beautifully decorated, with a small fountain, traditional Mexican pottery, and with gorgeous leather chairs that were reminiscent of something you'd find in a study in a Mexican ranch in the late 1890s. We're from out of town, and it was our first time there. The waiter actually came by to let us know that the kitchen was a bit behind schedule, and updated us on when the food would be coming out. He did this without us even complaining or asking (we were all having a great time catching up with an old family friend for his birthday), we'd honestly lost track of time in conversation. We all appreciated the waiter's transparency with the food delay. But it doesn't stop there: our waiter, once he heard that it was our friend's birthday, he sent the table a round of shots, and overall, just went completely above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome and that we had a great time! We live over an hour and a half away, but I'm planning on making the drive again, later this summer with my family!

“Went last night reserved a party of 6 but another friend showed up and Anthony the owner accommodated us. We ordered half the menu including the star of the show being the tomahawk steak. We shared all items buffet style sampling all dishes. Everything was excellent and everyone in the party was thoroughly impressed!“

“Evangelina made our special evening perfect. My husband and I go to Coopers Hawk every year for our anniversary, and this was our best year yet. Evangelina was warm, friendly and attentive. She checked in often enough that we never felt neglected or forgotten, but she gave us time to enjoy our appetizer, drinks, and meal without feeling like she was hovering. The food was delicious too. We ordered the four cheese aranchini with lemon butter for our appetizer. It was perfectly crunchy on the outside and smooth and creamy on the inside. The cheese was offset by the bright lemon in the butter. My husband orders the chicken piccata every year. This year instead of the short rib risotto, I ordered the pretzel crusted pork chops. The pork chops were very tender and were complimented nicely with the sweet candied bacon and a hint of smoke in the maple BBQ sauce. Evangelina brought us a sample of the strawberry sangria and also a spiced pear drink. It was a good substitute for dessert since both of us were too full to order one. We will definitely continue our tradition next year, and hopefully we'll be lucky enough to see Evangelina again!“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. But I definitely recommend this food for all of you avid foodies and lechon lovers.“

“This is my go to for catfish filets and wings. I accidentally ordered regular catfish peices vs the fillets and was so happy I did, the flavor was great and they were perfectly fried and had very little bones.

I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. I figured you don't ask unless it's popular. Boy it did not disappoint imo. Super fire! The coleslaw was good, it's very simple. If I had to "complain" the only thing I was just ok with was the fries. Only reason why is I like mine more crispy. They were still good though. Both the mild (bbq?)and hot (thicker style of a Louisiana mixed with Frank's?) sauces were good. For the price and portions it's definitely worth the try. “For a little seafood shack right next to the apartment complex, they present such wonderful signature dishes.
Whether it's for the sushi (ate before photo, sorry) or the Stuffed Coconut (Cocoa Rellano). I just love trying out their signature dishes. They are so fascinating to see either on your table or order for take-out.

Will come back again for the Pina Rallena! (Stuffed Pineapple) and with a better Spanish vocabulary! Se un poco español...
