“The chicken parmesan was kinda of good. I don't understand Italian cuisine in the USA. Tomato sauce with no spices and always the same taste, so I will say, it tasted like any chaine restaurant in the USA. Has for the service, well the waitress was nice, but more clients started to arrive, so she was nervous. We weren't finish and she already gave us the bill. I told her that we were not finished and that we wanted dessert. So, she came back for our desserts, but she didn't take our empty plates on the table. We add to push them in a corner to eat our desserts.“

“I’m I huge St. Louis style pizza fan. Pizzeoli just made me a bigger fan of wood fire pizza. So far this is my favorite pizza place in St. Louis. I’ve had wood fire pizza from other places but this place takes the cake. The margarita pizza was chefs kiss. And the mushroom sausage pizza was to die for. 10/10 easily! “There are not enough stars to rate Katie’s. I needed a place to accommodate a large but unconfirmed number of guests for my husband’s retirement lunch. I spoke with Janelle a few times and she listened to everything I had to say. I was concerned about people traveling from all over and not having a precise headcount. We opted for a reservation in the main dining area and Janelle, Simon and the entire staff exceeded every expectation I could have had. They helped move tables around as more people showed up, they gave great food recommendations and were overall just very helpful and personable. They even treated our group to complimentary tiramisu and ricotta donuts. The mascarpone crema was incredible. I don’t know when we will be back in St. Louis but Katie’s is already on the agenda! “My friend and I have visited twice. The menu changed from the first visit, and while it was great the first time, the apps on the current menu are really fun and tasty.

Both times, it was really hard to decide what to order because all the food sounded so good based on descriptions. Staff was kind, helpful and patient, even allowing tastes of wine to decide which bottle to get.

The pizzas are amazing - a specialty no doubt. Light crust and tasty variety.

Plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options.

The elevated side patio is a great option. Cozy but not awkward, with just the right volume of music and spacing between tables.

I ordered it the first night we were there. We got a pizza, toasted ravioli, and some wings.

It definitely lives up to the reputation. It was delicious. It wasn't super greasy or heavy feeling. The vegetables were fresh, the meat was fresh, the sauce was so good, and the crust was perfect.

The toasted raviolis were good. They were better than a restaurant I had tried on a previous trip.

I talked to the owner and the crust is from a very fine bakery on the hill in St. Louis. The sauce is real California tomato sauce. And the cheese is whole milk mozzarella.But the best part is the pepperoni is $10 per pound Volpi pepperoni. I would say this is the best pepperoni pizza in St. Louis.
