“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

“This place is amazing! Had the Birria Tacos and they were the best I’ve had anywhere! I didn’t come up for air long enough to get a picture of the tacos but I didn’t snap a pic of the Churro sundae which was also amazing! Wish I lived closer I would be here often!“

“The food here was pretty good, but the drink servings here are huge. I asked for a medium, and looked like a large. There was no small on the menu either. But, for 3 dollars with a drink that large is definitely worth it. Also, food was great, just that their salsa was overly watery.
The service was honestly very great, I got my food quick, and the lady who was serving my family and I, was great. She was very social, and nice.

“Burrito Express is great for take out. It may not have a lot of ambiance but the food is really good amd they are always friendly. I asked for fajitas with no peppers and onions for my son with food sensitivity, and they accommodated us with no issues. The quesadillas are really flavorful and filling. They are a go to for us.“

“Hard to pass up their Taco Tuesday special. Tacos are great and I always get fast and friendly service. I recommend you call ahead. They added a cooler with cakes and cheesecake type desserts and those are good as well. Guacamole is great and I always get a side order of the onions which I love.“

“Staff was pleasant and welcoming. My burrito (with rice & beans) was certainly tasty & filling. My friend had some very good-looking nachos that clearly someone took time and effort preparing. The marinated peppers & carrots and bottles of green & red sauces were also welcome additions. Their menu is good-sized and includes breakfast so I'm sure I'll be back to try some of their other options.“

“I got the taco dinner and the nacho fries. First, the size of the taco dinner is actually really good for the price. I got double rice and no beans because I’m not a fan of refried beans. The nacho fries were HEFTY. I picked up the container and HOLY MOLY! It was A LOT of food! Definitely a great price! Will be ordering again!“

A total of $19 plus taxes would be $21 and they charged me $27. I asked why and they told me taxes... the same thing happened to three other people at that time and the answer was the same. Once again the food was very tasty but tipping would have to be an option and believe me I always leave a good tip.“

“I was here last night with my husband. We had ordered a taco dinner, steak and chicken and also a steak burrito. Food was fresh and hot. The burrito was bigger than what we expected but very good as far as the customer service very great….the young lady that was in there took our order. “This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“
