“A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!”

“My wife and I eat regularly at Estancia for dinners and lunch. IMO it is tasty with reasonable portions and good prices. Overall it is better then some of the larger Mexican restuarants in the area with a casual atmosphere and great customer service. Too many persons fall for the ambiance of a place and don't get quality or authentic Mexican food. In warm weather their small patio is very inviting with plenty fo parking nearby.”

“I have the avocado lotto and it was plenty so much that I have enough for supper. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. The tunafish and cottage cheese were excellent. The patty melt with onions was cooked perfectly. It came with a cup of soup and a generous portion of coleslaw. We will definitely come back here again.”

My last trip to the area was when I noticed Tamale Hut Café and made note to stop next time I was in the city - today was the day!

I knew that this would be an awesome place for a great authentic tamale - I was definitely spot on.

I LOVE the vegan options offered - I tried a broccoli 🥦, a mushroom 🍄, and a chicken tamale. The green sauce was a very flavorful addition.

What made my experience the best was the customer service provided by Alex - very welcoming when I told him I was excited this was my first visit.

The café is so clean. And seating is open, airy and spacious - makes the atmosphere inside bright and comfortable.

“I went to Raising Canes on Friday 11/21 to purchase dinner and the new Christmas Story plush dogs. When asked if they had the plush in stock I was told they were already sold out. Mark was at the counter and told me they were getting a shipment in tomorrow and will have them when they open at 10am. I came back today Saturday 11/22 at 1pm and Sofia greeted me as soon as I approached. I asked if they received the new plush today and if they had all 3 in stock. She stated they only had 2 styles left and the Ralphie version was already gone. Mark rushed to the front and stated he in fact put all 3 off to the side for me this morning anticipating my return today. I was certainly surprised he remembered me from yesterday and took the time to put the 3 plushies off to the side for me. I was very grateful as I have been collecting the plush dogs each Christmas season when they come out. Mark goes above and beyond for his customers. Sofia was attentive soon as customer's came in and was pleasant to deal with. This location is the closet to my home and we stop in twice a month. The service here is awesome, they are friendly, attentive, and fast.”

“We visited BZ Red Hots at Brookfield Zoo today. We had a wonderful time at the zoo and the best part in my opinion was taking a break for lunch at BZ Red Hots. Service was awesome! Ellise helped us with ordering our food and drinks at the kiosks. She was such a pleasaure with a big smile on her face. I'm sure she's one of her manager's favorite employees if not THE favorite. “This place has a cool, hip vibe and it’s fun to eat at the communal tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of beer and creative craft cocktails. Food is beautifully plated and delicious - make sure to try the potatoes, baby gem salad and hanger steak.”
