She has very poor vision so it means so much to me that they did that. They walk around and chat with all the patrons. The BEST customer service we’ve ever had. “Anyone can sell you coffee and pastries. There are over 68 coffee and tea establishments in the Rockford area alone. There are 11 coffee shops from one national brand and another 5 from a national chain that specialize in donuts. So why do I go to Meg’s? The people that sell me my coffee are the reason. I’m not alone in this thought. It’s like going to the fictitious local bar “Cheers” in the 80’s. Everyone is treated the same. Welcomed, greeted cheerfully, and asked if they are having their usual. How do they remember everyone’s “regular”? I think it’s because they care. One other thing brings me in…the coffee and menu items are incredible!“

“Crust & Crumble have such a large vegan menu, giving us so many pizza and sandwich options. Even uncommon things like mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers. The portions are really nice size for the price. Pizzas and sandwiches are huge and great for sharing. I love the fat cat sandwiches.“

“It was right across the street from our hotel. Saw the sign for the Oleato. The barista introduced us to the concept of infused olive oil into the sacred elixir of espresso and, in this instance, oat milk. I ordered the latte with oat milk and my spouse ordered the iced espresso version. This was a game changer!! I am having to routinely add 1-2 sugar packets to my Starbucks lattes and here I didn’t have to add any sweetener at all! What a lovely drink. We’d intended to hit the road immediately yet I was so stopped in my tracks, I consumed nearly all of it within minutes! If you love extra virgin olive oil, this will likely be a delight! It was for us! \n\nVery courteous service and so close to interstate for fairly easy on/off driving.“
