The bar had Nice rustic Atmosphere, skilled and lovely bartenders, a buff hard working bouncer that can be very sociable, but has no issue with doing his job, lots of pool tables, a few electronic slots, and a younger to middle aged crowd, would definitely recommend as a fun spot to visit after a hard days work or to hit up with friends“

He was personable, glad to explain the ice cream shots they have, shared the last Tue of the month paint "party" they do, and was on top of making sure needs were being met without being overbearing. “First of all, I don’t drink, however I have a true appreciation for the American dive bar. The atmosphere hits this vibe 100%. Also, I believe I am a patty melt Connoisseur — and theirs is probably the best in the stateline. I’m also big into that taco salad. The drinks are cheap and the patio out back is stupendous. We love the tree!“

“Top Dollar Slots on Alpine is one of the better gaming spots in the Rockford area if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable slot parlor with good machines and a relaxed atmosphere. The space is well kept, machines are in great condition, and the overall vibe is easygoing whether you’re stopping in for a quick session or staying awhile.

What really made this visit stand out though was the food. I tried the Napoli’s Specialty Supreme Pizza, and it was honestly excellent — fresh, loaded with toppings, and cooked perfectly. Having quality food available while you play is a huge bonus compared to many local gaming cafes.

“This is the cleanest bar I’ve ever seen! Wednesday and Friday Karaoke are great times! Bands and DJs Saturdays!! They have a large outdoor patio for smokers AND it’s covered in case of rain!! I’m not gonna lie, I think the bathrooms are cleaner than mine at home AND it’s a BAR!!“

“Had a group of 19 women in for lunch today. Went in last week to let staff know we were coming on Monday at 11 am. I arrived, no tables were set up and I had to help arrange tables. All of our meals were very good. There was a huge variety on the menu choices. I asked our waitress if I might have a gift card ( $10 or $15) to draw from among the women. Was told the manager could not get ahold of the owners to ask if this was okay. Really? Anyway, every 2 months I make a reservation for us all to go to lunch. Never been turned down before. All the food was great. This just rubbed me the wrong way.“

“My ratings are based on being a mom, while this is clearly a night spot, sports bar. We couldn't sit on the patio because smoking is allowed out there. Their food was described as fresh but a decent amount was from frozen. The service was incredibly friendly, prompt, and caring. Everyone was very helpful and kind.

Also, I heard an employee screech, quietly, that they saw a mouse. I understood because I have lived in homes where the mice were a nightmare to get rid of, no matter how clean you are.“

“No frills, no food, though they sometimes have a food truck outside. Dive with pool table, darts, slots. Crowd is mixed, lot of older folks. Pretty empty earlier but fills out at night. Drinks are very reasonably priced, staff is friendly. Outdoor heated smoking area. TVs usually playing a sports game. Karaoke every night at 830, (730 every other weds). They also host events occasionally that are lots of fun.“

This place is by far the best place around, bar none.the food was very exceptional, and the service was better then I have had any wear. I hope they keep this up. As for anyone who said any different is clearly hard to please. The staff was very attentive to our needs, which says a lot about the staff. “Local bar on prairie ave in Beloit WI. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I usually have a pineapple and Malibu, the waitress suggested trying rum haven which is a top shelf liquor which tasted very delicious with the pineapple. They also have slots, and a pool table. Very nice atmosphere, clean as well. They have food but I have not tried it yet.“
