I worked closely with Meghann Streicher to build our entire wedding day plan. She helped coordinate our timeline, cocktail hour, drinks, dinner, and dessert. Throughout months of planning, Meghann and her team were responsive, encouraging, and full of great ideas—without ever being pushy when we were indecisive. On the big day, our event director, Nate, was an absolute superstar. His calm presence instantly put us at ease. He is a true professional who kept everything running flawlessly. I loved that his staff quietly visited each table to dismiss guests for the buffet. This kept the atmosphere intimate and didn't interrupt the dinner music from our DJ (Windy City Sound). The food was spectacular—delicious, perfectly cooked, and served at the ideal temperature. Our guests raved about it! SBR was incredibly thoughtful with the details. They provided kids' meals with fruit cut into cute shapes, and they even reminded us to order vendor meals (which I had totally forgotten). They also still have mobile catering available for your home, buissness, or rental space... And the meal options are delicious.“

“Awesome little bakery! I wanted to try a black forest cake - which I can't say for sure I'd ever tasted before - before possibly attempting to make one for myself. After some Googling, scrutinizing reviews, and learning that this place is located only ~20 minutes away from me, I set my sights and was not disappointed. I ordered the smallest one, which is plenty big for only me and proved to be delicious! I hope to return in due time to try the Gateaux au Chocolat. Also picked up a slice of cheese cake for my mom, who said that it was delicious and had a lemon tang.

While I'm glad that I went on a Sunday, the parking lot isn't _that_ small. Yes, there is a sushi place next door, and it probably fills up during peak service hours. But there's even more parking a stone's throw away. I've been to dine-in restaurants on the North side with less parking, lol.“
