“I recently visited Arzu Cafe and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the lagman, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly soft, tender, and full of flavor. I also tried their manty, and it was just as good—fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The combination of delicious food and a comfortable setting made my visit very enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend Arzu Cafe to anyone looking for authentic and tasty food!“

The food was just as impressive—super fresh and full of flavor. I ordered two bowls: the Harissa Chopped Salad and the Mezze Protein Bowl, and both were absolutely delicious. Great balance of ingredients, well-seasoned, and very satisfying.

“We always order beef and chicken shawarma because it's consistently good. Tonight , I wanted something like lamb biryani and so the staff recommended Mandi lamb versus mansaf. It's better than I expected- tender lamb meat, rice cooked just right, spices that won't overwhelm your taste buds; the soup , the spicy and white sauce complement the flavors so well . Love it! Definitely worth the trip.“

“Update: Looking back 8 years later, we still remember what a fantastic experience we had at Skippers Restaurant. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the overall atmosphere made it a memorable stop during our travels.
The service stood out just as much as the food. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. It had that classic local restaurant feel where you could tell people truly enjoyed coming there.
What really stayed with us over the years was the quality and consistency of the experience. Great food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere are what make restaurants memorable, and Skippers definitely delivered all three.
As Mike & Amy’s Small Town Adventures, we have explored restaurants all across Illinois and beyond, and this is still one of the places we remember positively years later. Easy 5 stars from us.

“Cheese dog was literally a wrinkled hot dog drowned in nacho cheese sauce. The polish was on a French roll & difficult to bite into. I had it with all the toppings & it was only a few sliced of onions & a few green peppers slices. Not much toppings. I don't recommend those two. Other meals looked good though. Mine were just... disappointing.“

“OMG! I've been trying to find a a place with good gyros for a decent price. So far this place is best place in the area, but only because of what I'm able to afford. Used UberEats at a discounted rate. A gyro (sauce on the side) with, curly fries, a cup of cheese, and a medium drink for $20 with the tip included. So far the best value for my buck and it all tasted excellent. I recommend Brandy's to any gyro lover visiting the area.“

“Chiggy’s Gyros has been part of my life since they opened.. an amazing 29 years ago, and somehow it’s still just as good as I remember from day one. In a world where so many places change ownership, cut corners, or lose what made them special, Chiggy’s has stayed consistently amazing. The gyros are always fresh, flavorful, and piled high, the fries are perfect, and the service has always felt welcoming and genuine.
What really makes this place special is the memories tied to it. It’s become one of those comfort spots you keep coming back to through every stage of life. After nearly three decades of eating here, I can honestly say Chiggy’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a local institution. Grateful they’ve been serving the community all these years, and I hope they’re around for many more.“

“Discovered this place when I moved to hoffman estates in 2016 and I've enjoyed their food since then. Never had a problem or issue with their food. Great flavor, especially their Tawwa rice. Not a typical place to sit and eat since it's so small. Best to order take out.“

“I love the Beef Swarma Entree when you substitute Hummus for the rice. The Cucumber and Tomato salad which comes with it is also excellent. You also get a piece of Pita Bread with the Entree. Also try their Baklava variety pack. Really great selection of different types of Baklava.“
