Server was knowledgeable, service was quick, prices were reasonable. We wish we lived closer to go more often but it’s worth the drive!“

Don’t be deceived by the name. The food is very good. Very fresh really great service small intimate restaurant. They have a small dining area probably for parties that are somewhat small or overflow.. try it out so good !!
I guess you can order Omakasa I was looking at reviews and it looks amazing. It’s so fun to sit up at the sushi bar and watch their craft with those amazing knives so skillful.“

“Our family has been coming here for over a decade; at least a couple of times/month. Every single time the food has been consistently great and the sushi is fresh. The staff know exactly who I am when I am there and always get the “Red Carpet” treatment.“

“The food is amazing! Love the all you can eat setup where they bring you your broth, meat and seafood then you go to the buffet tables and get all the veggies, noodles, and sauces you want. This way you don't have to commit to a large quantity of just a few vegetables. I like it because I don't like mushrooms but my partner loves them so he can get a many as he wants and I can get extra lotus root instead. This is our new favorite place to get hotpot and we will definitely be back to try all the different broths, meats and seafood.“

I've eaten expensive sushi, cheap sushi, all-you-can-eat sushi, all sorts of sushi, and Tekka Sushi just got it right for a price that's actually not expensive, but also not cheap at the same time. Vegetarian options: This is a japanese food dining place, so either it is tofu items, soups, vegetable rolls, boiled beans, friend vegetable or meat (salmon, chicken, pork etc.)So you can choose decently.

“There was absolutely nothing that could have been better.
This is one of the best experiences aive had at a sushi place, period.
The staff greeted me with smiling faces, were attentive without being obtrusive, and genuinely seemed to care that I was satisfied throughout the meal.
The food? Probably the best I've had anywhere around Chicagoland. Not kidding; I felt compelled to write a review after, which isn't every day.
Great location only a minute or 2 off I-90, as well, so I will most certainly be back!

Edit: stopping back again another day, I was impressed at the amount of effort the waitress took trying to find something to suit me and my guest, who didn't have much experience with sushi.
Our meal was fantastic, and suited both of us well. Also had a great presentation, which I generally don't take much note of.

Same opinion as before - one of the best in the area.

Parking: The lot is small, and it is easy to drive past. Not their fault, but be advised it may be difficult to park here at peak times.“

“The care the staff takes with every single one of my orders is always top notch. From the Miso soup, to their deluxe rolls… the flavor in every bite is delicious. Even when it’s a simple take out order, the chef still takes the time to make the platter look cared for and even today, he or she wrote a little picture on the lid of my miso soup container. Edit: 1 year later and it was even better than my last time. The fish is incredible and the chefs know exactly what they are doing. Fantastic flavor combinations and one of the rare places they actually put some wasabi under the fish on nigiri- no soy, ginger, or wasabi needs to be added. Definitely give it a go.“

I never thought I would find such tasty cutlassfish in Chicago. Having lived near the ocean in Korea before moving to this landlocked city, I've had a hard time finding food that reminds me of home. First of all, I hope this house stays in Chicago for a long time!! I had braised cutlassfish and salted fish, and the braised cutlassfish was particularly delicious. The altang was delicious too! I never expected to eat such delicious cutlassfish in Chicago... Thank you so much! I used to live near the ocean in Korea, but when I moved to Chicago, which is on the mainland, I had a hard time because the food didn't suit my taste, but I think I've finally found the right home. I say so because they have authentic items like Nira Tama and Kampyou Maki (both fabulous, by the way) that you won't see on the menu at other places. Miso Ramen and Taiwan Ramen are fantastic, but beware that single pepper icon, because it’s no joke! (And I say this as someone who grew up eating spicy food 🙂) Delicious, but intense! I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.“

“Royce chocolate and cookies is located inside of mitsuwa along with several high end vendors and shops. Royce doesn't disappoint. Paris was extremely helpful and went over all of the offerings that Royce had. I ended up getting the variety pack because I couldn't make up mind. Great gifts for the adventurous tongue and even for someone with a sweet tooth. The have adorable pink gift bags to make it for a quick pick up. I absolutely recommend the fromage blanc chips, they are delicious and daring at the same time!“

“This has been my preferred dining spot at Chicago OHare Terminal 2 when traveling for business recuse of the vegetarian option. I have been seeing the same servers for the past 2 years. This is an indication that they treat their employees well.
As for the food it was ok. I ordered the avocado roll. The server Maribel was very pleasant and friendly which enhanced my dining experience. My table was located by the window over looking the run way which was cool. The only issue I had was with the presentation of the avocado rolls on the plate. The plate had smudge marks from the food, and needed to be cleaned. The Chef could have worked on his presentation. But overall it was a very good experience.

“I dined here at the sushi bar for the first time this year (Saturday night, 11-9-2024)! I usually order about $100-$200 of take out! It was a GREAT experience! The main dining room was PACKED, so thankfully, I had the sushi bar area to myself! Anyway, for appetizers, I had the Golden Lobster, Golden Shrimp and Shrimp Shumai Dumplings (which were so pillowy soft and delicious)! Then for entree, I had a Salmon Skin Handroll, Spicy Tuna Handroll, and a ton of nigiri: Uni/Sea Urchin, Salmon, Fatty Salmon, Tuna, Fatty Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mackerel, Ikura/Salmon Roe, Spicy Tobiko/Flying Fish Roe, and Tamago/Scrambled Egg! My total bill was $190!!! It was well worth it because I had the sushi bar area to myself, got to watch these cool blues videos on the flat screen TV, and have a nice time talking with Owner/Executive Chef Mr. Lee! I will, of course, be back for more awesome sushi! By the way, you can only dine in on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! You can do take out on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights! They're closed on Mondays!“
