“Last night my husband and I had dinner at Poison Ivy. We had baked cod with brussel sprouts and cole slaw. The portion was large (we both left food on our plates!) and the food was delicious! The fish was amazing - flaky and perfectly cooked.“

“Nice sports bar with plenty of TVs, tables, and booths as well as bar seating. Had a fair selection of draft beers. I enjoyed some of the old Kentucky. It is a one pound fried chicken breast with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a bun. Came with a side. All five of us in our party got our food quickly and enjoyed it.“

From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff was over the top accommodating to our every need. Service was super friendly and exceptional, as well as the food. I had the GOAT burger - the bun was fresh and delicious, goat cheese was very little and you couldn’t taste it, but it’s the name of the burger… the patty was plenty in size, but very dry and didn’t do Eickman’s meat any justice. The fries were outstanding. The Filipino Chicken Adobo was very delicious, the egg and sauce were perfect together. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The Lumpiang Shanghai was a great starter to the meal. The Ube cheesecake was ok, but not very flavorful. The Aluna Water was surprisingly refreshing and worth the $10. I haven’t been here since it changed brands, overall decent experience and would try again when not so busy for an event.“

Something else is my husband normally eats more than just his meal and he didn't tonight why some may ask that's because he was full off of his. Even my little one was satisfied with her meal. Prior to visiting I was reading through other reviews and a lot of them mention the lack of smiling from the staff, and those reviews do seem to hold true. Working in the food industry isn't always the best so I completely understand. Despite the lack of smiles, the one staff member we interacted with was very nice. When the milkshake I had ordered didn't come out with our food initially, she upgraded it to a large free of charge.“

“I just really love it here. There’s always a place for me and always a happy face to serve me. The food is great, everything is great and the friendly atmosphere means everything to me. I’m an older single female and usually come for the fish fry on Fridays but everything I’ve had here is very good. I never get any weird looks for being alone and female whether I sit at a table or the bar and that means the world to me because sometimes I just want to get away. I would give them more stars if I could because I’ve been here quite a few times now and the service has always been second to none and that’s very hard to find these days. Always a pleasure to have a bite to eat or just chill out!“
