“The best experience I’ve ever had at McDonald’s- thanks to Von. So it’s 10:15pm and I stopped by for the kids for a late snack (happy Mother’s Day to all moms). I am new with using the app at stove through so The cashier said if I pulled to the window that she would help me. I told her what the kids wanted and she suggested the best choice from the app. I wanted a hot drink and she made it personally and then asked me to taste it to make sure it tastes good!!! WOW! Thanks, Von, for being so patient, kind and helpful tonight. You went above and beyond. This is a great example of customer service at a fast food place.“

“I ordered coffee and the best breakfast burrito. I loved the small bite sized pieces of egg and sausage then served with salsa. It was very good and a good portion. I will definitely be back for another burrito.“

“Anyone can sell you coffee and pastries. There are over 68 coffee and tea establishments in the Rockford area alone. There are 11 coffee shops from one national brand and another 5 from a national chain that specialize in donuts. So why do I go to Meg’s? The people that sell me my coffee are the reason. I’m not alone in this thought. It’s like going to the fictitious local bar “Cheers” in the 80’s. Everyone is treated the same. Welcomed, greeted cheerfully, and asked if they are having their usual. How do they remember everyone’s “regular”? I think it’s because they care. One other thing brings me in…the coffee and menu items are incredible!“

“The staff here is phenomenal—truly some of the kindest and most welcoming people. I’ve never had a single issue, and I’ve even watched them handle difficult, rude customers with so much patience and compassion. Honestly, the staff is about 75% of the reason I stop for Starbucks every morning. Keep it up!!“
