“Nice sports bar with plenty of TVs, tables, and booths as well as bar seating. Had a fair selection of draft beers. I enjoyed some of the old Kentucky. It is a one pound fried chicken breast with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a bun. Came with a side. All five of us in our party got our food quickly and enjoyed it.“

“I’d give Louie’s 10 stars if I could! Yesterday we had a group of 20+ there for a bridal shower/family dinner. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff was over the top accommodating to our every need. Service was super friendly and exceptional, as well as the food. “We visited Lucha Canting for the first time tonight. It was excellent! I just moved back here after living in Austin, TX, for many years. I wasn't expecting the food and atmosphere to be as good and inviting as they were. I told my dinner companion the food was as tasty as any Mexican food I've had in TX, and it was beautifully presented. The way in which the restaurant was decorated made me feel like I was back in Texas! Lastly, our server was excellent. He checked on us just the right amount, and got our food out in good time. All in all, it was quite a pleasant experience!“

As for the main course, if there was any doubt about making this steakhouse one of our regulars, it was quickly erased. I wouldn't change a thing about this dining experience. For the quality, options, and overall experience, the price was reasonable for the area. My only regret is not visiting sooner. I was full before finishing two slices.Ordered half sausage. Only thing I would change is to ask them to mark which slices had sausage.“

“I was told that Gerry’s Pizza is amazing. Well it really isn’t. We tried it yesterday for the first time. We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“

“This place is a hidden gem. I live right down the road from it and didn’t realize it was there until my cousin told me about it. Best pizza in Rockford hands down. I don’t suggest the stuffed crust because the pizza gets a bit too thin at least for my liking for the normal crust pizza is amazing.“

I met Frankie and he was very attentive and gave me excellent service!!! I mentioned that I wanted to have their famous “Chicken Buggy Burrito” before I have surgery next week & Frankie even offered to say a prayer for me for a speedy and full recovery as well as even buying me a beer!
