“Great cheesesteak. A nice change from the usual gyro, hotdog, or burger and open late for another option besides Portillos in the area. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for a change like I was!! Would only recommend takeout though…inside is nice but the whole place smells like diesel fuel because of the fuel tanks under ground in the gas station lots surrounding Charley’s….only disappointing take away. I’d get a headache eating inside for sure.

“I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back. Mortadeli is a must-visit!“

“I work for ALDI corporate, and we've had Rammys cater our team building event in Elk Grove for three years now. Their subs are AMAZING, they are a breeze to work with and so friendly. My group loves the subs, the bread is fresh and don't get me started on the turtle brownies. On a personal note, the tuna sub is superb. Im very picky about tuna salad and I loved every bite. Run, do not walk, to Rammys.“

“Every time I’ve been in the guy who is there is the same and I forget to ask his name but he’s not only very friendly but knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions every time. It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. He suggests things such as my bread choice for the turkey sub I ordered and he said he loves the rosemary with it and he was right! It was delicious. “Absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant. The guy working provided such good service and was really help in helping me decide what sandwich to get. He was also very friendly, even with the previous customer who kinda rude to him. This was on Saturday 7/13/24 at 6:00 PM.

On top of that, the food was great. The Wicked was a unique flavor that I haven’t had before and the exclusive Mtn Dew flavor: Vibe was pretty good. I even preferred ordered at this chain to somewhere like Subway because of the format. I hope that Which Wich replaces all Subways.“

“Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

They make it a fun experience customizing your own sandwich by filling out your order form, they have so many toppings and sauces available. The ingredients used are the freshest compared to other sandwich shop chains. TRULY THE BEST! If you’re extra hungry, try their French fries and wich sauce!!! It’s our favorite. And the shakes are the thickest, creamiest heavenly dessert you could ask for. Overall, we have always had positive customer service and friendly smiles from the workers. “Overall, it's pretty good. This is one of my fav restaurants but not my fav location. I've had a few sandwiches from here that was just okay, either a small amount of ingredients or lacking on good flavor. I also think that I've made a few of the employees nervous (I don't know if my confident demeanor was too aggressive or if my darker complexion was the reason). Either way, I've had that "uncomfortable" feeling before at this location. It didn't bother me, because it is some nice people that work there as well. In this situation, the good outweighs the bad, and I like that! I go to this location often because it's close to my job, and I definitely would recommend it.“

I came in to get a sandwich on a Wednesday at the end of the lunch hour. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and conversational, which was a very pleasant surprise. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick. The Turkey Swiss mini meal deal was good as always.

Every time I visit, the location is clean, the bread and cookies are fresh and not stale, and the portions are correct. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews, I’ve never had a single problem here. The other locations always fall short in one of these aspects or more.“

How can someone come in at lunchtime and do that. Maybe next time call it in. I waited 15 min to my order in. And the one bathroom has been out of order for at least a month. “The two gentlemen there on August 4, 2024 at 10:30 am were extremely welcoming and were super fast. They made sure our rewards were scanned so we could get points which I would have forgotten about. I had modifications with our sandwiches which they took care of with no problem and were made perfectly. They made sure our sandwiches also had sufficient napkins/packets of sauce in the bag. “My daughter loves Subway. I'm not a huge fan, but it's only because I ate a lot of Subway sandwiches over the years. This location is pretty decent and clean. Sometimes I forget it's connected to the Shell gas station, but when you're in a hurry, and you and your car both need to refuel then you can't go wrong!“
