“My wife and I were walking around Oak Park when we came across this place. We stopped at Starbucks and then we ran into pure green and decided to stop in. The way we were greeted by the owner was enough to make us want to throw out the Starbucks. Very respectful and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend the Mixed Berry Acai bowl and tropical breeze smoothie! The owner offered us the “wake me up” shot and blue-biotic shot. They’re definitely worth it. We will definitely come back for more!“

“The guy running this place is just great. He was super accommodating. Even went so far as to tell me that the freeze flavor I selected wasn't the best. Said he would let me try it, but if I didn't like it he'd make me something else (Thai Tea Freeze... Funky... Just like he said). He was true to his word and made me a lavender freeze for no extra cost that was totally delicious. I'll definitely come back. 100 stars for quality of customer service.“

Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. “Today was my first time trying Smoothie King. I picked the Peanut Power Plus. When I substituted the nonfat milk (powder) for almond milk, I expressed my concern about my smoothie being thin/liquidity. The person who I worked with, I’m assuming the manager, assured me that it would still be thick or they’d be willing to remake it. He even added extra peanut butter. My smoothie was tasty. And although I only got the 20 oz, it was so filling, I could barely eat. 😂 That’s a good thing. Thanks for my smoothie but especially the excellent customer service.“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“
