“This was my first time ever at Cold Stone and it was a great experience! Cold stone never appealed to me before I was vegan but the vegan option they added was too good to pass up. I came specifically for the plant based Silk almondmilk ice cream and it did not disappoint. I got their signature order which came with the Silk chocolate almond milk ice cream, bananas, peanut butter, and almonds. I swapped Oreos in place of almonds and truly enjoyed every bite! The workers were also so friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Such a delicious treat!“
“Coffee Chocolate Brownie: Historically I'm more of a Ben & Jerry's or Cedar Crest guy when it comes to "premium" pints. I've only ventured into the world of Häagen-Dazs a few times before and found it to be just okay. I gave them another chance as this pint was on-sale. The description sounded promising "classic coffee ice cream swirled with gooey brownies, rich espresso chocolate sauce, and delicious espresso chocolate chips". Opening the pint, I immediately spotted numerous large brownie pieces. As promised, there was also espresso chocolate sauce and chips. Personally, I thought these were some of the best ooey gooey brownie pieces I've encountered in an ice cream. Although it could use more of them, the espresso chocolate chips add a contrasting a satisfying crunch to the creamy ice cream. The coffee flavor of the ice cream is sweet and not at all bitter (so if you're not the biggest fan of black bitter coffee you will likely enjoy this). Lastly, like the espresso chips, the espresso chocolate sauce is great, but I wish it was more abundant. Coffee and brownies are a great flavor combination and Häagen-Dazs delivers with quality components in this pint. I wouldn't advise a pint of coffee ice cream for breakfast, but this one almost makes me want to re-evaluate that decision. Minor complaints aside, Doughboy approved. My Häagen-Dazs Favorites: 1. “Really good ice cream. Me and friends went here today since everything was closed and we thought this place would be mid.But, man this ice cream really is good. I would say it’s even on par with basking robins or prolly even way better than that. I would recommend the dark cherry and coconut scoops which was recommended to me by one of the employees. Also, I gotta say this is also the only place in Chicago that is very hospitable and service is amazing. The employees gave us many flavors to try before proceeding with our order.Vegetarian options: Vegan marshmallows“
“So many delicious flavors, it was hard to pick. Our family of four enjoyed our different choices. It's a beautiful ambiance for the beginning of summer with indoor and outside space. “I went through the drive-thru to get a ?RAINBOW CONE? for my birthday. It was my first time ever, and I was not disappointed!!!There are several flavors of ice cream available by the pint or quart. They pack it FRESH. I bought a quart of the Lemon Raspberry Swirl and a quart of the Big Muddy for later. YUMMY!!! They even included cones wrapped in paper that could be used for sharing.The corner location at the traffic signal on Roosevelt Road makes for easy entering/exiting. Parking is plentiful.????My ?RAINBOW CONE? on the waffle cone was fantastic!!! My only difficulty was NOT trying every flavor.
