“We had a wonderful experience at Amorino! We’re visiting from Spain, and it was such a pleasure to be served by Domenica and Mateo, who spoke Spanish with us, making communication so easy and comfortable.
They were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel very well taken care of throughout our visit. Their friendly attitude and outstanding customer service made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Domenica and Mateo!“

I have to have it every day and I walked miles to that ice cream parlor this week the owner and the boy Jake that worked there was such awesome people too. I will definitely be back. “Came here after the Zoo this evening with the family. The young man and young woman running the shop were really nice and polite. I got the cucumber lime and spicy watermelon ice cream. it was amazing. Reasonably priced also.“

“I had such a great experience at Amorino! Zymal and Emiliano were both incredibly friendly and made the visit even better. They were patient, helpful, and gave great recommendations for the gelato flavors. The customer service was outstanding, and the gelato was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“The cookies are amazing as always! Staff can try to be a little more friendlier they give the factory worker feel (hot miserable & not trying to be there). Doesn’t feel welcoming but thankfully I’m not there for them 🤪 there for the cookiesss but a lil customer service goes a long way & if that’s too much try smiling it’s contagious! 😊“

“I absolutely love having this boba shop so close to our home! I’ve been here a couple of times now, and Beck and Asem have always been so kind, genuine, and welcoming. You can really tell that they care about their customers and genuinely want you to enjoy your drink. They even take the time to ask if you like it and make sure you’re happy with it, which I really appreciate.
It’s also so nice to have a small, friendly local place within walking distance. I’ve really enjoyed my visits here, and the people who work here make the experience even better. They’re both such lovely people, and I’m happy to support them. Highly recommend stopping by! 🧋❤“

“What a magical, well run, homey place for all ages. It is almost a time travel trip back to kids were welcome, families have a great time and everyone can enjoy delicious food. Hot sauce bar was a hit for me. When you go, it’s please talk to Sherri and David, they have fun stories to share. Well done 👍

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“Solid italian food. I've only tried their pastas and they were very good. Good quality chicken and servings are plentiful. The only suggestion I would make to the restaurant is to better set up their online ordering systems and encourage customers to use them versus calling in orders. Also, allow take out ordering on holidays such as new years eve when you're open.“

“Came in early afternoon on 12/16 and was greeted by Caitlyn, who welcomed me with a big smile and let me know she was happy to help if I needed anything. I was looking to get a birthday cake for my daughter, but the size available on display was a bit too large. When I asked if there were any smaller options, she explained that she had just made one and it would be ready in about 10 minutes if I didn’t mind waiting.
She even let it freeze a little longer since it was freshly made, added the candy toppings, and kindly offered to write a small birthday message on it. The entire experience was friendly, fast, and extremely courteous.
Highly recommend this location, and I would absolutely return—especially if Caitlyn is working. Her exceptional service truly went above and beyond.“

“My adorable little niece turned 3 over the weekend and she could not get over her Barbie cake made by you guys!! Aside from the cake completely nailing the Barbie theme, it also tasted amazing!! Prior to this, my husband and I who live in Oak Park, have only frequented The Brown Cow for ice cream and shakes but now we will absolutely be coming here for cakes for special events!!!“

“This is a small ice cream shop with some very good, but also some very strange flavors (like Durian or Black Sesame). They gladly give out samples, so make sure you try a flavor out before buying.
The sizes are on the small size for the price. It was close to $40 for 4 of us to get cones.
The place also has been redecorated for Initial D instead of Doraemon.“

“I recently ordered a custom birthday cake from this Dairy Queen, and I couldn't be happier! The owner-ALOK is incredibly helpful, kind, and so creative with the cake designs. They really took the time to make sure the cake was perfect for the celebration. Not only did it look amazing, but the ice cream was the best I’ve had—fresh and delicious. If you need a cake for a special occasion, I highly recommend coming here!“
