“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant ever! We went today for lunch, and as usual, it did not disappoint! Best grilled shrimp and rice I've ever had in my life! I don't know how they prepare their grilled shrimp, but it is ahhhmaazzinnggg and bursting with flavor!! And the side salad is so fresh and tasty. 😋 Great atmosphere, along with fast, friendly service! Five stars!!Highly recommend!!“

“Super yummy ~ As a certified foodie, this is the best Mexican food in the CU. Don’t even go anywhere else. I really enjoyed the guacamole as it was very fresh and it is evident that there is a lot of thought and preparation that goes into it! The chips are the best chips I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant! I also really enjoyed the beans and rice, a lot of places have really bland, cold, poor tasting sides but La Veya truly killed it with theirs.“

“We saw it advertised on the highway and wanted something more than fast food for an afternoon dinner. The food and portions were great! “My fiance and I love Burrito King! We have made a routine during Farmer’s Market season to always get two breakfast burritos with pastor 🩷 The burritos are our end of the week treat that we look forward to. We really appreciate how friendly and personable everyone is. I love knowing we are supporting a local family and their hard work, the fact that their burritos are so yummy makes it even better. “Exquisite food. Tonight, I took my family in to Qdoba on Wright. The burrito bowls were delicious. The closing manager, Austin, was as kind and helpful as can be, explaining the care he takes to deliver the freshest foods to his customers. We loved the steak bowls we had. He loaded them up good, with freshly cooked steak, beans, rice, fajita peppers, guac and more. The best Qdoba we've ever been to. This Qdoba features a wide variety of salsas and quesos. We will keep coming back! Thank you!!!“

“Review written 1/31/2026. My favorite restaurant for over 10 years. Delicious lime cilantro rice, delicious black beans, delicious chipotle sauce, delicious tofu, delicious guacamole, delicious spicy salsa.
The chips can be hit or miss, but when they are good, they are great.

“Our club would like to thank the entire team who made our catering order possible for today’s club lunch lecture. We ordered seven large boxes of food, and the two men who delivered them to our school went above and beyond their job duties. They not only helped carry the food upstairs, but also assisted with setting everything up.
We truly appreciated their kindness and extra effort. All 132 attendees thoroughly enjoyed the food, and if we could give more than a 5-star review, we absolutely would! The food was delicious, everything was delivered on time, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely consider this restaurant for future lunch lectures and highly recommend others to cater from here.“

“We tried the location at 907 W Marketview Dr, Champaign tonight. It’s the first time we’ve heard of this Mexican Grill. We were warmly greeted and the place was super clean which is refreshing! The food was delicious and the Burrito King Burrito does NOT disappoint! Very large, very tasty and so much food! I would highly recommend!!“

“I live in Mahomet and can say that I had not gotten taco bell in probably like...8-10 years. Just never was near one or had occasion. Well....listen...they moved in less than a mile away and...now I've had taco bell like 4 times in 3 weeks - and tbh I've been GENUINELY shocked at how good it was every time - it had always been hit or miss at other locations I'd been to - but this Mahomet Location absolutely crushed it out of the park every time. Cheesy Double Beef Burritos - where have you been all my life.“

“Man the people who worked here went above and beyond. I ordered chicken nuggets online. When I got there they were out ,but one of the employees went to the other store to get them. I was happy. That was greatly appreciated. We need more people like that in this world❤️. The nuggets were good. The nacho fries are always good and I had the dragon fruit tea. That was pretty good as well.“
