“I’ve been here on several occasions with very consistent experiences from the friendliness of the staff to quality of our iced lattes & chais to the tastiness of their pastries. Enjoy the space with a variety of seating options - bar seating, tables & chairs and comfy seating. All within the quaintness of a repurposed train depot. A favorite coffee stop when in Belleville…. Monthly!“
“Just what I was looking for! It was my first time downtown and I was looking for coffee and a cookie for me and my son, they were great with him and let him look at all the different kinds of sugar cookies and played along with his games while I figured out what to order. My iced latte was perfect and everything was reasonably priced. My only complaint was it didn’t give me the option to tip when I used Apple Pay and I didn’t have any cash on me.“
“Excellent customer service!! I have received flowers from them several times in the past year and each bouquet has been outstanding!! My husband called around Christmas time and was requesting an arrangement.. Grimm & Gorly outside themselves, they knew the assignment!!!“
“Very cozy and homey breakfast spot. The food looked fantastic but the star of the show is their drinks! The honey lavender coffee is absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to go back. The shop itself is small but so adorable with a very relaxing atmosphere. There's extra seating upstairs and you can tell they use the space wisely.“
“Stopped here to get my Boba fix and they did an awesome job. Nice family who takes the time to talk to you. Both of my Boba milk teas were delicious! Definitely will go again when I’m up that way. Nice selections of Boba teas and rolled ice cream! You won’t be disappointed!“
“Hands down, the best coffee around! I am super picky about my coffee, and I absolutely love the lattes and drip coffee! My girls love the Lotus Drinks. We have also recently had some of the meals, which are so convenient, delicious, and filling. To top it all off, we always get fast and friendly service. I highly recommend visiting!!“
“I have been going to The Coffee Pot for about 8 months now since I first got transferred to Cedar Trails in Freeburg, Illinois. Their coffee is always on point and I love their cute set up they have. If you are looking for an amazing cold brew or even some specialty lattes and sweets and you are in the Freeburg area, The Coffee Pot is CHEF APPROVED!! :)“
“I'd be happy to help you make the text more engaging! Check out this revised version:At first, I was bummed when My Bowl and WIT parted ways, but the sadness was short lived when I experienced the new Wit cafe. The staff and Nguyen family are simply delightful and make you feel right at home. But the real stars of the show are the drinks and bowls - they're absolutely amazing! Trust me when I say that they put "smoothie kings" bowls to shame! I wouldn't know about their paninis though, as I have some dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Absolutely phenomenal- the food was incredibly tasty and well-prepared (I ordered the vegan breakfast burritos and later came back for the vegan quesadilla for lunch), and the staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and very friendly and kind.I sat and worked on my laptop at the window bar while eating and enjoyed the sweet, sunshiney cafe environment that looks right out onto Main Street. Highly reccommend and will be a repeat customer for sure. Love supporting local businesses!“
“Underrated place, with phenomenal, varying types of desserts. Only recommendation would be a different menu system. Confusing when you come in, not sure if crepes are dessert or sandwich. Not sure if you can just get a straight chocolate malt or scoop in a cone. Selections and offerings are much greater than their menu suggests. You can figure some of it out, but seems like people struggle. Perhaps a video menu system would help above the ice cream cooler and somewhere else. The ice cream, desserts are some of the best around.“
“It was my first time going into the shop! The staff was really nice, patient and Helpful! They told me about all the options available and suggestions!New favorite coffee place to go to!Parking: Its shared with the other shops but their hours make it easy to find quick parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Wide spaces to hang out and come in!“
“Food is decent. Nice place to chill alone or with your spouse when you want quiet time but don't expect a slight smile or a nod from anyone in there. It goes without saying this is NOT the most friendly place I visited but still pretty good.“
“Quaint little coffee shop that also happens to be part of the Southern IL coffee trail, which is how I found out about it. In checking out their FB page, I saw them mention a gingerbread latte, so I made the drive. When I got there, they didn't have their holiday menu out yet, but the staff was happy to make my GBL anyway, so that was much appreciated. For people like me who prefer to make their coffee more like a dessert, they have lots of different flavored lattes on their menu. I also had a breakfast burrito, which was fine. If you're not familiar with the area, your GPS will probably lie to you about the location. It's right next to the visitors center, with a good sized parking lot. Not a bad coffee option if you happen to be in the area.“
“Stopped in with a couple co-workers over lunch for some coffee. It was our first time being there and it was empty, aside from the owner. She was very lovely. The inside is nice and spacious, calming music playing, clean. It was a nice place to sit and chat for a while. I got an iced white mocha and it was good. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back.“
“This little gem is by far the best breakfast you can get in Southern Illinois. It's the only place my 5 and 2 year old will eat consistently and I don't order kids stuff. They are eating 5 or 6 veggies in their meals from here and that is just beautiful. After years of being loyal to places like The Egg and I and First Watch, this little place does what they do, except better tasting, actual seasonings on the food and dang near half the price. From price, to friendliness, to taste, this is my go to Breakfast place. For the same price as a McDonalds meal, you can get a full breakfast every doctor and nutritionist would approve of.Signed,A Very Happy Nutrition CoachKid-friendliness: My kids love the skillet. 5 and 2 years old and they can almost finish the skillet. I usually go for the garden style items and add meat to it and those 2 little dudes will destroy it.“
“Amazing service and atmosphere. Feels so lovely here, like right out of Life is Strange or something from a cozy novel. Staff was very friendly and would rather go here than a major corporation any day. I got the wolf bowl and an iced chai tea latte both great.“
“Ate here on the coffee tour. Cute shop, friendly staff. Had the white chocolate raspberry latte and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was fine, but nothing special. The coffee was similarly fine, but a bit weaker than I'm used to. Pleasant spot to sit for awhile in the morning“
“I ordered a very large order for National Coffee with an Officer day. They made me 20 drinks in 15 min! A wonderful experience from order to pick up! I enjoy the iced caramelicous and I actually also love the everything bagel sandwiches as well!“
“Update: I went to the same Scooters today and was given a free frappe and a sincere apology from an employee! I also received a message from Scooters to have a conversation with the manager of that branch, who was not in today when I went there. Today's frappe was excellent.Just came through and got my usual coffee. Quite frustrated this time!! Ice chunks in a frappe just don't work!! And extra carmel?? Where is it? Only in the cup but not the frappe? These are too expensive to get one you can't even enjoy or drink!! Scooters in Swansea...you owe me a freebie!!Great coffee! A little inconsistent with special orders though. And it's expensive...but what isn't these days.“
“Dietary restrictions: They have a variety of non-dairy milk options, and are very helpful if you need them to check syrups for ingredients - like gluten - if you are allergic.Kid-friendliness: My kiddo loves their little kid snack set - a kid size drink and cookies? It's PERFECT.“
“I was very torn on how to rate this place. Their wings are very good and unlike anything you've had before. The fries were also very good. My burger was average. Nothing craft/signature about it. It did have fresh ingredients on it, but the burger seemed like it came from frozen. For me, it needs something unique to it, and it just wasn't there. I'd like to see how their Philly cheesesteak is, next.We had a brown sugar boba, which was very cold, and a strawberry boba with popping boba. They were average. I would have preferred mine not made with crushed ice cause it is just too cold.I think they have a lot of potential but were a little disorganized when I was there. Menus seemed to be lost, boba tea had a separate menu that I wouldn't have known about if I hadn't seen someone drinking boba. They were doing some kind of counter repairs. It is a very small place, maybe it does mostly takeout orders. The staff was friendly. And we got there at 1:30, they close at 2 but our food came out right at 2 so they let us stay and eat.“
“I love My Bowl. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It's an excellent lunch spot, or if you want a traditional Korean dining experience cooking at your table you can get that for dinner. And then there's the selection of snacks you can grab for later!“
“Thank you so much for helping me reach over 8 million views If you'd like to see more of my reviews, hit that follow button and share. Here's the review:So, guys! I found this amazing Boba Tea shop. Here's what makes it si amazing.First, it's easy to access, and it's on the way to and from everything in the area.Second, the ambiance when you walk in is A1.Next, the customer experience is outstanding. I walked in and said hi ?, both ladies responded hi ? with super high, positive energy. I then explained it was my first time here, which was exciting to them, and they began to explain how their shop is different from the rest in the Middle West. She told me this is one of the only olaces in the Midwest with authentic Boba Teas with no syrup or powders. I asked what her favorite is so I could try it, and she felt I would love the Oolong. This is true, I love Oolong. She explained how it tasted and prepared it for me. The pary that was so special is how her excitement as she watch me take my first tip. She was spot on!The Oolong was so refreshing and calming after having my physical therapy session ?It did have a small coffee flavor but was well balanced, and I didn't get a crash like I would with coffee.Needless to say, I will be making this my routine stop after each session. I also plan to bring my family at some point.Take a look at the photos I took and let me know what you think by giving them a like.Be sure to follow and share ?Parking: Open parking lot in the strip.I was able to get a spot in front of the shop without having a disability plaque.Kid-friendliness: It's a great place to bring the kiddos for a healthy, refreshing, authentic Asian experience. Made with real tea.“
“Super efficient staff and baristas!! ☕☕ The perfect location to grab a signature coffee and or pastry before shopping. A fair variety of drinks besides coffee and ALL of their food items are scrumptious!! ?? If the line looks long, don't worry, it will move quickly!! A plus - the bathroom is right around the corner.“
