“Busy brewery somewhat off the beaten path. I had not had a chance to make out here previously but specifically made the trip. Busy dog and kid family brewery, the neighborhood seemed to be out to enjoy themselves on an early weekend evening. We found room at the bar and had a couple of drinks. I enjoyed the pils and lager I had. Both were clean and easily drinkable. It was fairly loud with dogs and families but we were still able to converse comfortably. Staff was friendly and attentive.“

“Came here for a birthday party. I guess you can rent space for a private event. There was plenty of seating - both tables with chairs and high tables where you stand. It's a cozy neighborhood bar. Outside seating was still available for the public to use. The collection of beer was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They make pretty thin crust pizzas.“

“The perfect bar, I fear. I can’t believe I have ANY pictures in this place because I’m always just talking to someone or playing pool or queueing up songs on the jukebox. There’s something about this place that you can’t really take a picture of: the people are always friendly and chill, you can tell it has a low staff turnover rate, the food is ALWAYS good. This is the kind of bar which would be the ultimate muse for a poet from the 1800s. My one drink photo is an espresso martini that was made with love, but know that they put just as much love into every beer they pour. It just isn’t as instagrammable.“

Open from 4 to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, 10 to 3 a.m. on Saturday and 10 to 2 a.m. on Sunday, this is a space formerly occupied by Mickey's Bar & Patio. Since Gaslight Bar opened in 2014, it has become a popular go-to destination for folks who love to mix their sports with their palates. I showed up early for Game Day and started with chicken tenders with honey mustard, a bow of tomato basil soup with croutons and parmesan and Kale Caesar Salad with Kale, Romaine lettuce, parmesan, focaccia breadcrumbs and Caesar dressing. For a main event, I couldn't resist the house's best seller, a 4C Smash Burger, a double beef patty with American cheese, iceberg lettuce, pickles, red onion, dijon and ketchup. As someone from Taxco, I can truly say this place has 100% authentic Taxco flavor. The trompico is the best, the shrimp tacos are delicious, and the elote is amazing.

“Update: It's s probably been 2 or so years since I've been in. Was in the neighborhood and had to stop in for nostalgia. Service is just as good as I remember and the food is still top notch! Shrimp Po boy and the wings tasted like I remember. Love the addition of the On Trend: Fire : It Slaps cocktail menu.

Excellent craft beer selection beyond just IPA's. Food has been consistently solid for the 7+ years I've been coming here.“

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“

“Wow, Kow is a great place to get some Korean bbq. I've been to many Korean bbq to include in Korea. I like Kow. Very modern cool feel to the place. Now I've only been here during slow early hours but the food is the same I'm sure. They have a small ramen bar to get you started if you want, but maybe hold some space for the rest. We had the dinner meal and it had everything we could want and more. Did I say all you can eat? We ate too much, but left happy. If you don't know Korean bbq, you Grill your own food so it is just the way you like it. The servers are happy to help if you need it. “Trace is one of the best hidden gems of Wrigleyville, and I'm so shocked that more people don't know about it. There's free popcorn, free hotdogs (with drink purchase) after Cubs games, and you can play Nintendo Switch games with your friends for free. In my experience, this bar doesn't get too crowded during busy hours. Also, the bartenders have always been very kind when I've visited. Thanks for being a Wrigley staple, Trace!“
