“Went to pick up a sandwich next door at Firehouse, while waiting for it to be made I walked over to this MilkTea shop. First time having anything Boba, so I went in and had a few curious questions about the teas, drinks, extras ect. The cashier was super nice, answered all questions, I got the Chocolate Boba Milk Tea and I thought it was great. The tapioca was good too. The place is very clean, neat, the bar area was also tidy and well kept. I saw there was a screen off to the side where you can order in case there’s a bit of a line at the cashier which was nice. Will be coming back to get a smoothie or something different from the selections next time.“

“My favorite boba spot! I love this chain. I tend to get the peach slush with cheese foam, and recently tried the yogurt with crystal and it was yummy - trying to branch out and try their other drinks and so far nothing has disappointed me! The mozzarella sticks though.....I have been looking for amazing mozzarella sticks for years and I think I finally found the perfect mozzarella stick. Of course to each their own, but do not miss out on trying them!“

“Glad to have found a good Vietnamese restaurant in River North. My husband and I go there at least twice a month. We love the pho there, I especially love the pho bo vien. Their vermicelli with grilled chicken is also great, very refreshing during the hotter months. I keep ordering their bac xiu coffee so I haven’t gotten around to try other drinks on their menu yet.“

The mango lemonade drink was certainly refreshing for a hot summer Chicago day. The black tea boba milk tea was nicely balance in terms of taste and sugar. The milk tea wasn't too sweet at all, which I like. The amount of tapioca pearls you get is adequate for the size.

“This was the second time I came here. The first time they didn’t have all of the food items. Now, you can have dinner and dessert at the same place. They only have one kiosk to order from. Most of the time they were in the back. The people are actually very nice but their customer service skills could use some work. When I asked for extra spoons, I didn’t receive any sarcastic or snide remarks. I ordered just an iced milk tea (Thai) with brown sugar jelly. The results are very decent, not the best. Price was fair. I had a sample of my partner’s bingsoo. They come in two different sizes, the cup one is for one person. The other one can be shared between 2-3 people. Fresh ingredients and good ice cream. They have tables and booths for groups and couples. Ample seating. They also have some props for taking pictures with.“

It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. “This is the place you want to go for when you want to authentic Vietnamese food. We got the Grilled Lemon Grass Beef Banh Mi and man that sandwich didn't have the right to be THAT GOOD. Everything was delicious, from the the warm and crispy Baguette, to the perfect beef, the correct toppings and man the ratios were so so good!
We ended with a couple of coffees and the experience was completed perfectly.
Now the service was just the cherry on top! Everyone was nice and helpful and just wanted us to enjoy our quick bite. Anytime i'm anywhere near Chicago, i will be stopping by here for sure.“

“been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“

“I went to this new boba place that finally opened with my mom. There was one person working there. The drinks were awesome and the lady was nice! The only problem is that there is no pricing on the menu, and we ordered 3 drinks that ended up almost $30. Really expensive. “I have ordered dozens of sushi burritos from this location for years and they are always delicious with large portions sizes that make the cost worth it. Sadly, this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. This burrito is really small compared to every other I’ve gotten and you can tell by how much paper was left over and wrapped at the ends. It seems the seaweed wrap that is being used is smaller and that’s disappointing.“
